Yea since this is our last year of contending for anything ad isn’t going to be ready to play this year. He’s huge right now.

I said it since last year when they traded away wiggins, the priority has to be to get another wiggins. I think kerr was banking on jk being that guy.

Steph, jimmy, and dray, are too expensive to go out and pursue another max guy. Imo, give me a steph, moody, wiggins, jimmy, and dray starting 5 in a playoff series this year? I like my chances vs anyone.

yup i am with ya. Not liking Wiggins offensive game but he is a better player in playoffs. That would be a sick defensive lineup.

With how good the heat look right now, I doubt they’re moving Wiggins. I think our best bet is Dillion brooks or pj Washington. Maybe Keon Ellis but I think I’d prefer someone bigger.

If Portland drops off what about a deal of Kuminga plus fillers for Jerami Grant? Get the bigger, better, more seasoned athletic forward.

I would second the idea, especially when one of the fillers is podz :D

If we are trading for an old Blazer i’d prefer Jrue.

He’s near the top of my somewhat realistic list, just behind Jackson, White, and Trey.

Ignore this... it's not a valid trade, I didn't check it in the trade checker. I checked a larger trade and then just went to this without checking.

Dallas trades
Either (Gafford or PJ Washington) => GS

Dallas is a 1st Apron team so they can't take back more salary than they send out. This has them sending out ~14M and taking back JK's 22.5M.

Here we go... I got lost; I meant to include C.Martin...

GS Trades
Kuminga => Dallas
1 of (TJD, Santos, GP2) => 3rd team, probably cost a 2nd.

Dallas trades
Either (Gafford or PJ Washington) + C.Martin => GS

If PJ Washington happened, GS leans into 3pt shooting and Draymond, Horford and Post for centers this year, maybe some Washington is possible.
IF Gafford, less 3pt shooting but add an athletic shot blocker at center, less Draymond at center to keep him healthier, could run Horford or Post at PF to go double big.

For playoffs...
Gafford trade..
Starters - Curry, Moody, Butler, Draymond, Gafford
Bench - Melton, Podz, GP2, Hield, C.Martin, Richard, Post, Horford

Washington trade.
Starters - Curry, Moody, Butler, Draymond/Washington, Horford/Draymond
Bench - Melton, Podz, GP2, Hield, Richard, C.Martin, Washington/Horford, Post.

I think if GS could get C.Martin from Dallas at around ~9.6 mil, I think he'd work great in GS' offense and defense, he played a bunch at PF in Miami guarding 1-4 at a decent rate. He'd be somewhat a bigger PG2 with more offense. Since leaving Miami he's not been used the same and with that, not nearly as effective. He'd be an interesting scoring defender off the bench but with not much scoring off the bench, he could be given the green light to help the bench score better. A frustrating part of his game, he loves to step on the 3pt line from time to time. I'm not sure how he was supposed to work with Embiid, that signing didn't make much sense.
