AD reports coming out pretty much confirms he’s getting traded. Interesting lakers shopping him around to bucks, Celtics and cavs. Seem like they was ready to sell low

You know, I think this Presti guy might be pretty smart.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how do you conclude they were willing to sell low based on that list of teams?

As good as AD can be when he's healthy and in-form, I'm not sure there's that many trade partners that make a ton of sense (especially another year older with another injury hit).

Many good teams have very limited assets and/or significant salary limitations. Others have a somewhat awkward post fit next to AD.

My list currently is:
Chicago - perhaps the only team that could do a 2-team deal.
Toronto - if AD's willing to be a full-time center (Dallas would still need to deal Gafford or Poeltl for a guard in a side deal)
Miami - limited assets to offer and not sure wants to go that way
Phoenix? - unlikely, and would need a 3rd team to turn Maluach into a non-center prospect or solid pick

Anything else make any sense at all?

Think more so timing and fact they was calling teams. Pre injury he was playing at mvp level. Not something you call teams about unless more going on behind the scenes.

There is a path that they was asking for Giannis , Mitchell or Tatum. But think realistically i don’t think cavs , bucks and Celtics had firsts to offers and were doing too well to trade a rotation piece.

Fox/Salary Filler (Keldon) + the draft pick commitment returned to the Mavs for AD (Maybe add some extra lottery-protected picks or make it bigger with Vassell/Klay something like...
Fox+Vassell+Olynyc+Pick returned for AD+Klay+Martin?

Just going off the ideas in this forum?

Detroit, Boston (not Jaylen based), Charlotte, Atlanta, SAS, Mem (to add him to JJJ/Ja)..

Wait, do you think asking for Tatum, Mitchell, or Giannis was selling *low* on AD?
