The Mavs likely won’t get the haul they would like to get for AD but I think you’ll be surprised how many teams actually do want AD.

The next DP to arrive in Dallas after Dwight Powell can only be Darryn Peterson. That being said, whoever is feeding AD all of this needs to continue doing what he's doing so we can continue the tank.

Kyrie can also take the year off so he can be 100%. Someone send him to some far flung indian village with a shaman he can talk to or something.

CBA question: do picks have no cap hit in a trade?

You mean a trade pick for a trade pick? Like no player involved? That has no cap hit, because there are no contracts involved.

Sorry, that was muddy.... When you include a pick in a trade (with players), what is the cap hit for the trades?

Only contracts count towards the cap hit. But that is if you get more salary back in a trade than you're sending out.

They don't, even rights tona drafted player don't, but they do count against the Apron, so if you're hardcaped and exceed the hard cap, it's illegal.

Mavs need to hire Nico just to fire him again 5 seconds later.

Luka Doncic now has more 40-point games (4) than the Mavericks have wins (3)

Who is Bobby?

I love Naji, was a big fan of the signing. IMO you trade him only if it's for a pick or it's to use in no-brainer trade.

Naji has right.

Portis is an athletic big with range
Naji is a midrange beast with good ballhandling and passing.

That guy is so confused.

Ya, that's a terrible comp. Naji is right behind PJ as pieces on this roster I'd keep.

Yea I would really like to keep Naji but having him on this team is more of a luxury. If you can get any value out of him in a trade do it.

To me value comes in his intestinal fortitude. Gafford gives the Mavs some toughness. He’s also healthier than Lively. He’s still a backup center (defensive rim rolling center) but he is someone I would like the Mavs to keep. Especially with Coop on the floor (and if they keep Kyrie). Gafford’s ability to block shots can lead to a lot of fast breaks and I’m anxious to see a fast break with Kyrie and Cooper. They still need a stretch big but Gafford does fit with Cooper and Kyrie if they want to play fast.
