Not eye popping depth but it’s Underrated. you have guys like KCP, Moody, Aj Green, Bruce brown, Nance. All type of guys who can play off the bigger names without getting in the way.

10 teams have been PM'd regarding their EL situations. If you didn't get a PM from me, then your team does not have an EL issue at this time. Deadline for being EL compliant is Noon on Monday.

Also, all teams need to have at least 13 players on their active roster by Noon Monday. We are looking at opening night on either Thursday or Friday next week.

Agree. She'll be good again. The question is whether that core breaks into the top of the East, which is VERY contentious.

I had the Mavs who I think could be as high as 2 out west but it really depends on how they view Randle and Murphy III.

But it HURT the league IMO. Cant win a chip with one player making $639; who happens to be the MVP. It would never happen irl Cap...

But it HURT the league IMO. Cant win a chip with one player making $639; who happens to be the MVP. It would never happen irl Cap...

I think it was a good gamble for Hoffa. He needed a truly elite player to play with the other big boys in the league and he's got Edwards for like 140 and that combo is the best backcourt in the league. Then he's got some other cheap pieces and likely one more move to have a roster that will compete for at least two years before he loses Edwards.

He had to pick a price point that I wouldn't match and he did. I certainly would have gone to $550 or maybe a little higher but beyond that I was not in the position that he was to put a good roster around him at such a high value.

The question/surprise was whether Hoffa would actually splurge for realsies and he did.

Wouldn't work in real life and the sim won't like it either...Unless, the sim changes the way it operates. Shai will never win a chip on that team or any team where he makes 60% of the cap.. Add in Mitch at $172/2 ouch Cap...
But who knows Cap -maybe I'm wrong...

AD probably is the most underrated especially in the SIM to make a run at Wemby for defensive player of the year, he's always up there.

AD always has seemed pretty respected in the SIM. Consistently ranked as a top 10 player. And one of the best 2-way guys year after year.

Toronto had little-to-no cap space left after locking up Wemby and Amen long-term. But still managed to make these sneaky acquisitions that fit the team build:

• Draymond Green
• Marcus Smart
• Andre Drummond (don’t sleep! depth move!)
• Shaedon Sharpe
• Andrew Nembhard
• Cason Wallace

Added defense, OFF/DEF rebounding, youth & bench scoring.

All while keeping the core intact and with the ability to return the same team next season for an encore, if I choose to run it back for 2026-2027.

I was however, pleasantly surprised 3 GM peers recognized the young core that’s in place while simultaneously being able to be a legit championship contender, right now.

…lastly, who’s the GM that voted San Antonio as the team with the level of success that’s most difficult to predict? Talk about a tough crowd. 4 straight LOB’s and still not impressed.

I'm crossing fingers that he gets a bum from last year. The Joker will be a nightmare for certain. It will be interesting to see how Chet and AD fair against a stronger joker in the sim this year mph...
