Maluach just got sent to the Gleague. I know there were a few people who wanted us to pick him at 6.

Sending a center to the G-League is often a real bad sign.

Wings can get good experience in the G-League because the difference between an NBA wing and a G-League wing is actually quite small. But the difference between NBA big men and G-League big men is huge. Basically, all the 7-footers on the planet who can walk and chew gum at the same time are already in the NBA. The only guys in the G-League are either undersized or uncoordinated. Sending your big man there barely even helps him develop.

I never liked Maluach. I saw nothing special about him at all but I suspect he will at least be a rotational big in time. I'd be surprised if he is a complete bust.

The Suns sent both Maluach and Fleming to the G-League for playing time and development, the Suns have a plan, no issue at all with sending them both, that’s what the G League is for.

Raises hand sheepishly. I'm satisfied w/Tre for the time being
despite how some are now reacting. It's early.

Ejected. Flagrant 2. Too bad, he was playing well. Intentionally pushed played defenseless player in the back. Retaliation from something earlier?
