There’s people that still think gradey is that guy…

Btw kon is doing this at 20 and the excuses for gradey always have to do with his age…

I swear man people don’t have any ability to differentiate skills and abilities and potential

54% TS% as a center who provides very little defense. I haven’t been impressed with him at all. I do like his skillset though and think he can be a useful player in this league.

Kon was the fourth overall pick in what is looking like a very good draft. Gradey was the 13th pick in what's looking like a somewhat pedestrian draft excluding Wemby. Expecting the same from them as prospects was never realistic.

Have you seen how some posters talk about gradeys skillset and his potential? You would think they were talking about kon…

You don't get as skilled as Wemby is at that size by just being "Average" The guy plays like a guard and the facts are hes not 6'8"....You don't average 26-13-4 with 4 Blks/1 Stl per game if you just "Average" Height obviously is the reason for him being so special and unique but there have been many "Tall" freaks in the past who can't do even 20 percent of what Wemby can do....

You my friend sound like a jealous hater.

Jealous? No. He gets blocks because of his height. Take any average player and give him that height and he would get 4 blicks 1 steal.

I'd be conflicted if he was on the Raptors. It's like having a cheat code in a game that you previously couldn't beat.

Thats usually how it works....The taller you are the better the shot blocker you are for the obvious reasons lol....Conflicted if he was on the Raptors? If he was on the Raptors you would be excited and in awe that we have such a talent and player on your team.....And you would be happy anytime to watch him step foot on the court because he would prolly be the greatest Raptor ever when all said and done...

You have to work on your game alot to be as skilled as Victor is....That is not some "Tall guy doing things because hes tall" For him to be able to do half the things hes able to do is all hard work and working on your craft.

I just saw some old raptors highlights and saw bosh on the bench in a suit and just thought, why did the nba go away from the dress code. Everyone’s on the bench dressed in scrubby attire again. When did it change back? I liked it when everyone looked professional.

I dont doubt he has worked just as hard as any other NBA player, but he has advantage over every other player in the league, who doesn't just live on the perimeter, not because he worked harder, but because he is that much taller. The man blocks shots no other is capable of. He's not just able to block shots that other tier 1 centers can block.

I remember being excited about Keon Clarke. The man was the best shot blocker the Raptors ever had. Byombo a close second. Keon still had to jump high to get those blocks.

74 games under Thibs last season.

He's not Iron Man but there's a lot of guys way more injury prone.

But we also know firsthand this could end up being 4-6 weeks. East is so wide open.

He's realizing his potential getting traded from OKC.

Memphis needs to bottom out and get Peterson or Dybansta.

Is Peterson, Ray Allen with more deflections?

We play them on Nov 30...so could get lucky and not have to face OG for that game.

Excellent

Ray Allen with more deflections? He'd be one of my favourite players if so.

I think it's more, we have what we have. Gradey is who we have. We spent a 1st on him, so we hope he develops either to benefit this team, or be a part of a trade.

Coaches get tunnel vision. I think splitting Gradey's minutes with Jameson Battle would provide positive competition.

???

If he is going to miss games, I am glad 1 is against the Raps. No sense in other teams getting an easier game but not us.

In no way am I saying I am glad he is hurt.
