Curious to see if Bassey stays stateside or if he heads to Europe for a more competitive league.

I'm really surprised Nikola's reps haven't insisted he either be kept with the big league team or allowed to play in Europe.

Seems like Euro leagues would have to be more competitive than the G-League.

Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing what these guys can do with the opportunity.

Seems like he wants to be here not overseas. I mean he stayed here last year on a regular GLeague contract vs going back overseas.
I suspect that Hawks have laid out their plans for him and they are OK with it.

This is a fair observation.

Also, the fact he began last season with a work related injury that occurred while NOT under contract likely played some role in that decision.

Also even though Euro might be more competitive, he's learning the Hawks way in CP which should make for an easier transition to big club and he may also habe the opportunity to play games with the big club this year.

Toppin waived. Give this guy a flyer on a 2way?
Let him play some NBA games? We need size.
