I use him now and then to refine my write-ups after writing them myself.

Notice it didn't really optimize your defensive assignments.

Looks good enough to me. Seems counterintuitive that it mentions Isaac first instead of Timelord, but they play the exact same minutes at PF.

Hated myself for passing up Reed. Knew you'd take him with your back-to-back picks. Amazing value in the late 3rd round. He's relatively cheap as well in terms of FGA.

I meant more about putting Brown on Young for example instead of wasting him on Dort.

Horford was my backup plan. Might have taken Mutombo if he was still available though, to fill the Atlanta need.

Just saw this. I rarely focus on individual matchups tbh. With the ammount of switching in the modern game, all it takes is one screen to change everything. The AI also suggests I should show on Trae. Jokic can never show, he can only drop. Timelord/Isaac would excel at that strategy though. Anyway, it is what it is. Highly doubt anybody will bother to read all of that.

It's crazy how deep this draft is for PG. Every one except db has a PG already, yet there are still at least 6 All-Star and/or All-NBA level guys left that are generally taken in our games.

I know I can have West at PG or SG really, but considering I have Love/Walton down low I should probably avoid another ball handler, although there is still a guy available I legitimately considered on the 1/2 turn, so I mayyyyyy be tempted to take him.

Yeah, if I didn't need a specific type of PG I may well have left that position free for another couple of rounds.

If the pg can play offball and space the floor then I think he would fit well with your team considering all your players are unselfish/smart

West adapted well to players like Chamberlain and Goodrich. He was an excellent off-ball player. I wouldn't hesitate pairing him with an All-Star point for a second.

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Fun Russell team though it's obvious some people that set up themselves up are going to get massive pick ups in the next few rounds, I feel like I was probably cooked in terms of winning once I missed my pick and West and Walton were gone, plus George over Drexler and trying to get a slasher later may have been smarter.

Would you have taken one of them instead in R1?

Probably if not both, though I was rushing my picks so much yesterday I don't know if I'd have done any good with them.

If you had taken Walton or West I would've taken Russell and a yet undrafted player. May still take that guy in an upcoming round...

Almost took Frazier in round 2. Had Laimbeer picked 5 minutes earlier, Fade would have taken him for me. Kinda wild getting him in round 6. Maybe could've waited another turn but didn't want to risk it.

Also feels nice to pair him with Reed.

Good thing you didn't risk it. Frazier was the one I've been referring to that I would've taken on the R1/R2 turn if Dr P had taken Walton or West. But then when I got those two I didn't necessarily love the Frazier/West fit, especially with Love/Walton down low.

But I would've taken him on the R6/R7 turn.

The 6th overall PG is not even the craziest non-pick in this draft imo (for the other guy some of it is my fault for forgetting)
