It’s not that he’s soft, he just has trouble generating enough force in a quick enough time.

His high hips limit him in the air. Lebron, Jalen Johnson, Paolo, etc don’t have that issue.

Two notes from that first quarter:

BI makes too many soft and tentative passes.

And Shead played good defence causing Ball to travel 3 times in that quarter. The refs didn't call it once.

Sure? But the Raptors sucked last year with Barnes to. Doesn’t mean Barnes was empty stats.

Takes more than 1 player to be good

One guy adding 16 wins or so (adjusted for 82 games) is pretty wild
