The cut from RJ won us the game. He struggled but he still a threat in those drives. No need to trade anyone. Just be patient.

Our starting lineup is really gelling and coming together. RJ has had a few rough games, but even then, he's making things happen and making a difference

This is what I had envisioned when acquiring Ingram. On paper, we had a really nice team but I questioned chemistry and injuries. So far so good

It's wild, I hate it so much. It's a FanDuel network thing, they have the spread constantly showing ("difference"), and have player props & betting odds always rotating through the ticker

BI has some brutal turnovers.
RJ barreling to the basketball against 3 defenders is effectively a turnover. It happens pretty often and he needs to reconsider his approach in those situations.
There was some major over helping. The one that comes to mind is CMB at the nail reaching and leaving a corner shooter wide open.

I thought they played pretty poorly. It's a luxury to have a bad game and come out with the win.

Because Barnes was guarding Melo instead of IQ doing it and he was able to get to those rebounds Barnes often gets.

But regardless, since to see.

He didn't force a shot when he could have in that situation, he found the open man and then on the other end he blocked a gametying shot.. that's mvp level tbh

He is the best player on the Raptors

I said what I said

nah, barnes is on a different planet defensively. but BI certainly the best offensive player on the team.

Exactly. This was RJ doing what RJ does best...snake his way to the basket and finish.

BI’s midrange is automatic. Kawhi lite when he is middle of the key

I honestly don't complain about the refs much. In fact, I haven't all season... until now. Tonight was just egregious.

Can't wrap my head around being this good so early in the season with so many reasons for optimism, but people are still finding ways to **** on RJ in a post-game thread. A post-game thread for a win.

Was waiting at least until game 20, but might have to bring the 'RJ Barrett is Criminally Underrated' thread back early

I like.BI's game.better........and he isn't even hitting his 3's yet. When he does, watch out.

BI simply has more.tools.because.of his length. Better rebounder & better shot blocker. He may not be the greatest on ball.defender, but he is a much more effective help.defender than DD.was.

Raps definitely got a rough whistle
30 FTs for Charlotte, 16 for Raps. Barnes and RJ kept driving to net, yet RJ only got 3 FT and Barnes got 0. but bench players on Charlotte side got FTs for the same type of drive

At around the 2 min mark, there was a missed call where goaltending, Barnes got fouled, put a shot up, ball hit the board so should had been a goaltend

Hopefully, this is a one-off in officiating

I was afraid for a split second that he was gonna force a bad shot with the double team on him. Got to give him credit for making the right play by passing to a driving RJ.

you know he wanted to take it so bad too

The problem today, other than turnovers and missed bunnies, was too much hero ball. Multiple guilty parties.

Yeah we got **** big time. Whatever happened to friendly home whistle? Doesn't exist for us I guess.

Demar should never be put in the same sentence as a guy like BI. BI does everything better, and most things much better.

the real issue is that so many people just refuse to accept that DD was just plain bad.
