Same, Hornets could be better off giving the ball to Kon RIGHT NOW than running their offense through Ball. Kid's gonna be scary.

Kon clearly looks like their best player. He’s very good. And much more athletic than he looks.

And stronger than he looks, too. Physically, he held his own pretty well against Barnes and Ingram who were looking to bully him all night.

He's 90th percentile in terms of a guard that can stand his ground. It's Lowry lite level.

I would just like to say that BI's block on Kalk was way more impressive to me than his dunk on him.

Jak was boxing out like crazy, often leaving others to clean up the boards. That and the fact that the Hornets shot a lot of threes that had long rebounds. To his credit, Quick was chasing them down all night.

A lot of people were expecting him to be Duke's leading scorer over Flagg. You can see he has a really high skill level and scoring instincts to go with it.

He was my favourite player on that Duke squad. I felt he deserved the ball more at times. I’m a huge fan.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

Was working so I didn't get to see the game. Box score makes it look closer than makes a lot of sense, but we came away with the win, so that's awesome!

Remember the free bet on the Over? I’m hoping we all did that at the beginning of the season. I surely did, and I put a hefty amount because it was free money lmao. No way we were going to lose that much

The only risk was injuries and I took that bet

I was working but had the game open on my phone. I noticed Kon. We missed a lot of easy buckets. I hope they keep the momentum going. The team looks great, a lot of unselfish talent, and the weak defensive players are getting better. Darko is probably the best development coach we had other than Casey. Dick even looks like he's getting better. It seems like Darko is looking to make smart players like CMB and Dick play harder in short minutes. A smart player that plays hard and makes minor mistakes is the best role player to have. Fun thing is we got tons.

Last year, this might have been a loss. So it's nice to see us get it done, even if it was a little ugly. Looks like a bunch of guys had nice games, though.

This game was actually not as close as it should have been. Hornets hit some very very tough shots and got some very lucky bounces.

Loving the depth of our team and BI completely changes our identity giving us a go to scorer.

Team chemistry is at a high right now, but I think for us to be a chip team, we need a defensive 3 and D PG like Derrick white and also a deadly go to scorer.

Derrick White and Giannis would be a deadly combo and I would gladly mortgage 5 years of picks and some of our young guys to make that happen.

Not sure if Boston decides to move White and what it would take to get a Giannis.

If it was a pick between the 2 I probably go Giannis. RJ, Jakob and 4 first round picks.

I was a critic of Scottie last season and the preseason, but he cleaned up his offense. I'd rather he is Jekyl and Hyde than forcing bad shots.

Having BI around put him in his place. In addition, he can have more energy for D

When you've seen Bargnani, 2021-2024 seems like a moment in history. In terms of irrelevance. And not that bad.

Last season was imo worse than many of the Bargnani years.

This might turn out to be the perfect trade if he has another level. I hope he stays healthy. Holding him off last season may have been genius.

Also I heard him saying the Raps trainers (McKechnie or his crew) told him he is over exerting himself in the gym. Perhaps he was overdoing it.

He didn't force a shot when he could have in that situation, he found the open man and then on the other end he blocked a gametying shot.. that's mvp level tbh

The Demar comps are cringe imo.

And the winning play (offense wise) was an assist on an iso. What a breath of fresh air. I haven't seen that in years on this team.
