The whole game plan was to force feed Brown this past week. So much so, it threw off the entire rhythm of the offense. You'd have to watch the game to know this and not just cherry pick a narrative.
Brown had 11 targets and the rest of the team combined had 16 targets...
Are those the only two options with Brown? Don’t throw him the ball or force feed him the ball.
I’ve been mentioning this for months, but it’s an OC issue and also a nick sirianni issue because really, it’s his offense. There’s no creativity in this offense. They run the same routes, don’t disguise formations, don’t use motion, have routes that take way too long to develop etc. look at this.

That’s a lot of hitch routes.. What is the point of this…? Here’s another thing, Chad ochocinco and Shannon sharpe talk here specifically about how obvious what route AJ brown is about to run. If they know, just watching a regular game live, then a DC who literally watches like 50 hours of game film per week with all 22 access will probably know too. I know it’s in the eagles Reddit but I don’t know where else to get this small clip with just this part.
https://www.reddit.com/r/eagles/s/p4iezsJCWwYeah there’s a reason that Jalen hurts isn’t getting the ball to AJ brown and I’ll tell you why… ITS BECAUSE THE DEFENSE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT ROUTE HE IS GOING TO RUN EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!
I’m not saying Jalen hurts is joe Montana or anything..lol but even Joe Montana would struggle to get the ball to Jerry rice at a high clip if the defense knew what route Jerry rice was going to run every time. And then on top of KNOWING what route he’s going to run, double team him at a high rate with both defenders knowing what he’s going to run… That’s what is currently happening to this whole offense, especially AJ brown lol
