If you gave Barnes Okongwu a stretch defensive big he would be averaging 28PPG on 60+ TS%

I would think with the contracts the Magic have committed to over the next 4 years, they are probably more interested in dumping WCJ before his new deal kicks in next season, then moving Goga's reasonable deal.
According to Magic fans they want to upgrade on both, so I'm not sure they're moving WCJ unless they have a better option.
Next season, Magic are at $155M just for their starting 4 (Banchero, Wagner, Bane & Suggs), let alone the $14.5M they owe Isaac, and the $18M they owe WCJ. They have $215M on the books for 11 players, but Isaac only has $8M guaranteed for his deal.
Luxury tax limit is around $200M next season.
I think they will be trying to dump some contracts.

Mamu isn't really a C. And literally all 5 loses could be attributed to Yak either not being right or being out. Another real C would go a long way.
Problem is, guys here dont want a C, they want a tall guy shooting 3s.

Personally, I'm loving Mamu CMB front court off the bench. I agree we need a 3rd C for when yak or Mamu are resting. Small problem to address by the deadline.

It's a small sample size but Barnes alongside Mamu is average 28PPG on 65 TS%. A stretch big will make a difference on offense. Tatum and Brown had that advantage with KP. KP's stretch ability pulled the opposing C out of the paint so there's essentially no help defense at the rim.

Well you cant really do "PPG" for stats like that. It has to be per 36 or per 100 or something like that.
Points per 100 possessions with Mamu = 35.9
Points per 100 possessions w/o Mamu = 25.5
Points per 100 possessions total = 28.3
So really it is closer to 24.6ppg if you assumed he played 32.5mpg still and all with Mamu. Not 28.5ppg
You can look a little closer as to why that is. For starters, Barnes has shot 53% from 3 with Mamu beside him, and 32% without. That is simply noise - there is no reason to think Barnes 3pt% is 20% better due to Mamu.
That, along with the fact generally Barnes/Mamu lineups are against benches and not starters, is likely the reason for the significant jump.

Yet one more player who’s holding Barnes back. Will the injustice never end

It’s not one player is holding Barnes back, it’s that the archetype needed to extract the best out of him is one that we don’t necessarily have. case in point, when you see Barnes and Mamu out there together, they look great together, because their archetypes fit together well

I have seen the future: the Raptors will acquire Duop Reath from the Blazers at the deadline after Yang Hansen has shown enough in the G League for them to feel like Clingan-Hansen-occasional RW3 is a secure rotation.
In all seriousness I think Reath is a good target - he's nothing special but he's big enough to be a different look from Mamu.

They do have the roster spot, but it may be difficult to use it, unless the team is willing to stay in the tax.
It makes sense to not waste the roster spot on a 3rd C, when they have more versatility with CMB, Mogbo and even Barnes who could fill the role for short periods of time.

Yeah it’s not as big as a priority as bench guard offense right now. A rim running big would be a good complement to our current players

Unsure about the defense, which is the initial discussion for adding a C. As for holding back, Siakam can borderline carry the team without a stretch big, so Barnes needs a stretch big to be at that level?
