Kansas doesn't have much talent outside of Peterson. UNC beat them comfortably even though Peterson had a good game.

^I didn't watch the second half but the box score said Peterson didn't play.

Correct, which is why i mentioned they dont have much talent outside of him. He's been out for awhile with a hamstring issue.

Kansas got only 5 pts from their bench.

47% TS for Boozer last night. Kansas doesn't even have a big front line.

Fell asleep around halftime. What I saw Boozer definitely had a hard time scoring against size, but made some nice passes out of the low post, looked good on the boards and made some good outlet passes after getting the rebound.

Ive only watched the first half so far. He made some good passes but once again i don't see much skill off the dribble or finishing inside.

Caleb Wilson comp..... CWeb ?

Caleb must be in consideration for us as a top 5 pick. Him and Sarr at 4/5 could be a relentless menace!

On a different note, was listening to Vecenie’s latest podcast where he sang the praises of Mikel Brown. He described him as a taller version of Garland. If he develops into a bigger Garland who is not a liability defensively, watch out.

Ucon plays Arizona tonight at 7. Lets see if Koa Peat can show out again. He's been a bit quiet since his big opener.

"Even though Peterson had a good game." How am I supposed to intrepret this other than you are saying Peterson played?

That was against UNC, the last game that Peterson played. Since UNC beat them easily with Peterson playing well, that would mean that they don't have much talent other than him.

Anyone watching the game or checking the box score would know Peterson didnt play last night lol. I didnt feel the need to "Peterson didn't play against Duke" since anyone with eyes can see that. It was pretty well known before the game that he wasn't playing.

Should be a good game. Interested to see how Peat does vs that UConn defense that stifled Dybantsa in that 1st half. Also interested in comparing Peat with Boozer after just watching him, they seem to be of a similar mold physically and stylistically.

At this point I’m pretty settled with moving both Wilson and Brown ahead of Boozer.

Days back I posted draft AJ Dybantsa. I will stick by that.

Caleb Wilson can become a Jalen Duren, which would complete the Wizards' front court.

I loved the tape from Brown right away.

Dybantsa and Brown are prodigies. Can't miss future stars. I keep missing Peterson. I trust everyone else that he's Jordan-level talented as a two-way combo guard. That seems to be a blasphemous comparison. Peterson is a Dwayne Wade? I don't know.

I am really not up on NCAA men's ball. I've been focusing on women's NCAA, the WNBA, and, unfortunately, politics.

Koa Paet's name has wrung my ears. From all the buzz, this draft is much better than last year's which itself was better than the year before.

I might not even take him there. Right now i would say the top 4 so far is:

Peterson
AJ
Brown
Caleb

I think it is less clear who is 5-8 but there are a lot of games coming to sort that out.

Every time i hear someone touting Boozer they don't talk about his actual skills right now, they have to bring up his high school acolades. I give no fs about that. Show me something in games that aren't total mismatches.

We're pretty much on the same page. Unless there was some major change in the 2nd half that I missed, there was a pretty sizeable difference between Boozer and Wilson's performances against Kansas.

It took me a minute to realize who Caleb Wilson reminded me so much of: Antonio McDyess.

Literally a carbon copy (play style, frame, explosiveness) of McDyess at Alabama but with better passing instincts.

I think I have to move him to #3 ahead of Boozer.

Yeah, Boozer is a clear #5 for me. As long as we get a top 4 pick, (I'd prefer top 2), I'd be fine. Peterson, AJ, Brown, or Wilson are above Boozer.
