Imagine the optics on the Masai firing.

and shows it this season?

I mean it was one of those situations of like "atleast see what youve built" with everyone healthy and actually not trying to lose.

This team might be so good he would've got an extension and its a young core overall.

Masai had no future with us once Ed got full control.

Us being very mid the last 4 years just made it much easier to fire him in the summer, it wouldn’t have made a difference that we were good this year.

Website's finally working for me so now I can say: Best game of the season
-Ja'Kobe doing what was advertised
-IQ hitting clutch 3s like a franchise PG
-RJ bouncing back from a bad 1st half to step up when Ingram was in foul trouble
-Ingram was still great despite the foul trouble
-Scottie continues to be Webber-like with All-Defense and i'm here for it

The only problem on this team is the lack of a backup rim protecting center. There were times when Sixers were getting multiple offensive rebounds on the same possession.

Idk, isn’t mamu the backup centre? If we get a guy like that where does mamu fit? Is he playing the 4?

Mamu I'd argue is a more natural 4.

Philly made a push in the fourth, our guys withstood the pressure and a tough whistle and had the composure to make some buckets down the stretch.

Wasn’t a strong Jamal game and bench missed CMB. Thought Gradey Walter and Mamu all had solid minutes. Credit to Darko- it’s not quite 20 games, but the saying is give it 20 games right? Well at 15 we’re in 2nd, that’s a lot better than I expected.

I still do think we may not be playing our optimal lineups and think Darko is too rigid in where he’s got Battle in the lineup. But I’m glad we’re winning

Quickley/Shead
Barrett/Dick
Ingram/CMB
Barnes/Mamu
Poeltl/(Backup C)

Mamu's weaknesses were on full display tonight. Gonna need better rebounding ability and interior D from our backup C.

Nah, I'll take his spacing, scoring ability and mobile perimeter D over some scrub C we put in there just to rebound and contest shots at the rim while killing our offense and spacing.

Mods why is this allowed? Now he’s attacking my perception of negativity and the fact that I’m spamming. I guess the logic is you’re allowed to be negative on a player as long as you do it at a lesser amount of posts? Someone clarify this for me. So as long as I only post one trade gradey dick post per thread that’s okay and I’m not considered to be spamming negativity?

Also, he posted this negativity in a game where Barrett actually played well where as I criticize dick for things he doesn’t do well and when he’s underperforming. Again someone clarify why it’s okay? Or is it just because im boogie! Just like it’s just because it’s Rj Barrett so we’re allowed fo ignore all the positives and act like it’s only the negatives that exist for said person.

Report button? Not just yelling out for mods?

People don't have to like the players you like. And this poster doesn't spam the forum with anti RJ posts. So not sure what you want.

Right so just to clarify I’m allowed to Criticize gradey dick without being called a hater? Whats the limit to how many times I can say that before it’s considered spamming? also, the game thread is littered a bunch of posters **** on players all game when they have a bad game. What is considered spamming?

If a thread is created specifically about trading certain players, and the entire thread is talking about why those players need to be traded how is that not considered spamming anti-said player posts? A whole bunch of people have been **** on Walter in any game thread. Why is that different?

I checked the schedule to see if we had any games against the Pistons coming up and we don’t play our first game against them until mid February. Schedule is crazy.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Let's see what they can do when they make the playoffs and far they can go. Eventually Terrence Ross, Patrick Patterson, and Greivis Vasquez, were replaced with Ibaka, Powell, and Gasol. We build up.

Ross ppat greivis wouldn't come close to cracking this starting lineup imo.

Patterson (at his best) would be a good bench piece on this team. Greivis would not play at all. Ross would compete with Gradey for minutes (I was never a fan of his play).

Honestly if you look at the rosters we had in those years, the first couple of seasons there was like no depth at all. This team is talent wise, better overall I would say. The difference I think is basically that Lowry was quietly one of the best players in the league in impact those years. Scottie could be that guy, he just needs the consistency.

Not on this roster and we have been really good defensively with him out there at the 5.

People worried about how far were gonna go when we have been horrendous for 3 straight years lmao

flopping in the playoffs would make it a horrendous 4 years

Yeah that bench lineup looks like struggle city offensively

Oof. Sorry to inform you he's got an MCL sprain. He'll miss a few games I figure.

He's been a bit injury prone to start his career. Hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about.

We may not like it as fans but it's good for their growth. A couple of posters made that point last game, and BI also alluded to that afterwards.

We do this all the time. No player is perfect. We know that and all other GMs know that.

Who are we going to get who is better than RJ for RJ? Why would another GM give up a better player for him? And no I dont want an often injured AD.

Sure we could trade him for expiring and picks, but that helps us win how?
