TPups are all grown up and ready to make some noise this season. I’ve been waiting for the emergence of this team as it’s been cooking for a few years now but it looks like their time has finally come. Strick you ready to kick things off with a banger? Looking forward to it

J-dub huge rating well deserved.

HOU looks good JJJ with 100 DEF.

And Washington with a little love with Taylor Hendricks (found the big DEF rating) even thoufh his offensive ratings are brutal!

Taylor Hendricks DEF rating is all the proof I need that the devs just put in numbers just based on their own personal impression of the player or off some unknown metric that they take as gospel.

Other talented players drafted, signed, and acquired like that should continue to improve in the sim Brandon Miller, Keyonte George (averaging 23/7/4), Jared McCain, Clingan, Jaylon Tyson, etc.

Home grown talent. No rushed rebuild, patience, and trusting the process

Toumani Camara (NBA All-Defensive 2nd Team last year) - 64 DEF rating
Damian Lillard (notoriously bad defender for 13 seasons straight) - 74 DEF rating
Taylor Hendricks (856 minutes in year 1, 75 minutes in year 2, good but not generational defender) - 112 DEF rating

It is what it is. But is there any way to anticipate this from year to year, or is it just a crapshoot?

(The sim learning curve is real!)
