Would give us size and versatility off the bench. Not sure what the Grizzlies would want for him but I’m intrigued with the idea

Why aren’t they pls him? Does he have poor decision making? Trying to understand. Would definitely be worth the risk

Don’t really know the story behind it. I think he got hurt and fell out of rotation and never got his spot back

memphis seems like a sht show. i dont know how he just fell out of their rotation like that. pretty talented player, if we can get him for cheap we should do it

I know he got hurt but I don’t know what’s been the story since he returned . I know they’ve added some other young pieces so he might have lost his spot. I think Coward might have taken his spot, Wells has been solid for them and they still have Aldama so I don’t know if they have a role for him anymore

Do you actually think because the Knicks won one game without Brunson. He’s now tratable ??!!! lol

Do you really think McBride is a lock at starting at Pg ? lol

Do you really think Shamet “Shamwow” is going to be the new starting sg ? lol

That trade is awful for the Knicks

That’s like ,

Trading Bill Bradley and Clyde for Kareem

And you have Willis Reed = Kat

And no point guard

I know this is just fantasy. But Willis famously struggled at PF in tandem with 6'11 Walt Bellamy. When Knicks traded Bells and a guard for Debusschere it unlocked Willis moving to C. And allowed Clyde to start.

He's 6'9" and doesn't rebound. This board killed Precious. Imagine what it would do to him. 8-)

Took a look at the Raptors. With all the past board proposals to get Brandon Ingram and Poetl, it feels like an alternate-universe Knick team. and they are 10-5. RJ and IQ seem to be doing well also. How far do you think we are ahead of them? It seems like our edge is just because we have JB.

Bridges has turned it around but will always stand on it that the Knicks shouldve traded for Ingram. It was just a more cost effective move. BI was traded for salary filler and a 1st round pick (top 4 protected) meanwhile we gave the motherload for Bridges. I imagine Giannis would be here if we had Ingram instead with the picks saved.

Ingram was acquired by Toronto last deadline but didn't play for them until this season. We'll see if he stays healthy.

But yeah a lot was given up for Bridges. I always thought the Knicks big miss was the Grimes to Detroit for Bogdanovich and Burks. If they'd just traded for one very good player, like Derozan say, or even just kept Grimes, it would have been better that season's playoffs and left room for a bigger deal like Giannis later.

Instead of GG Jackson, Knicks should trade for GG Allin, because the team is sh*t.

Imo the biggest concern with a KAT for Murphy move is that would leave us with basically no paint offense outside of Brunson. I don't love that at all. KAT provides inside-out concerns.

If Murphy is on the market we're not getting him, the Spurs or Pistons will come in with heavy offers.

Pelicans don't have there picks. Dumars trading for draft capital makes no sense. He will just be fired before he gets to make those picks.

The optics behind Dumars trading for Queen and potentially moving a top 4 pick in this class would get his ass canned in two seconds.

Trading for Murphy helps with the ecosystem of the ball movement Mike wants & some improved defense but what happens to the big man? Rebounding? We gotta rely on Mitch now? Diawara?

We really should be going for Herb Jones, but even that has its issues.

Pelicans not having their pick this year isn't really relevant, they are going to have to tear down that team soon regardless and getting back picks for Trey will be pivotal. Zion's value is in the dirt, they will need to cash out on Murphy.

They have two players right now that they might be able to build with in Queen and Fears. Why would they give up their most valuable asset, to get back a player that plays the same position as their best young player (Queen).
