The only players I would consider trading is Slim, Jett and maybe Tyus. Other than that, I wouldn't trade anybody else unless a too good to be true deal popped up.

Jett & Jones only have value as salary dumps.

Isaac to me looks like Chris Boucher. Washed up former shoblockers without any purpose on a team.

I mean, teams could use him as salary dump ( trade, glue to bench, wait until contract stipulation deactivates his guaranteed money ) but in same time he still isn't salary dump, because 50% of his next contract is already guaranteed. So such thing makes no sense.

I would also add that dumping healthy (or even unhealthy) guys who have that kind of out in their contract isn't the same as an expiring or a Team Option year...GM's are scared of agents and that would be like driving a dumptruck through a loophole in their deal. I don't recall ever seeing that actually happen to any kind of prominent player...anyone remember seeing that happen? (maybe it does happen, but I don't recall)

I don't think trading for Isaac to waive him for even partial cap relief is a thing for other teams.

To be fair, most wouldn’t want to trade him if he was actually playing to his contract. Players that don’t positively impact games don’t play on teams trying to win. We’re pretty much there with JI unfortunately. So sitting him wouldn’t just be about getting out of his contract, it’s about him not providing meaningful minutes.

In all reasonableness, Isaac and Howard gets, relative to your interests, a guy like Kenrich Williams.

This board might lose their mind if PBO Weltman traded Isaac and Howard for Williams. But: actually, I like the trade.

So, trade guys that have negative value for really good players? Whose buying?

Likely nobody unless you find a team that’s looking to shed contracts and can’t find another partner.

They probably should have traded him 1 or 2 years ago already.
Really interested how the market evaluates him. So far he is the PG version of LaVine with even more injury risk but in best case scenario better skillset.
You have the combination of low iq, injury prone and horrible defense. The chance he turns it around is there because of his talent but it's probably way under 50%. The obvious team is the Kings who love this kind of player for a decade now but maybe they gonna try a real rebuild now finally.
Houston isn't dumb enough to trade for him, despite the Van Fleet injury. Additionally to all his weaknesses he is too ball dominant next to Sengun and Durant.

Lamelo is so damn talented but:
1) never plays
2) golden example why 15 years old shouldn't become famous, for their own good.

Atlanta would be kinda funny. AD and Kristaps the most talented DNP because of injury Frontcourt in the leaque.

I saw somewhere ...hell i'll just copy past it

Mavs medical staff evaluated AD on October 30th and diagnosed him with Chronic Achilles tendinopathy, which is a degenerative condition that causes the Achilles tendon fibers to become weaker over time. The estimated healing time for such an injury in the most severe case is 6-12 months of physiotherapy (almost as much as the healing time for a full tear). Either way, AD isn't coming back in 2025, and highly doubtful for 2026

I guess nobody is touching him any time soon.
