“ A recent report surfaced that the LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets might be open to a trade of the star guard. In a live stream for Bleacher Report, Jake Fischer reported that he's heard differently.

"I can tell you with absolute certainty that the Hornets are not actively looking to move LaMelo Ball any time soon," Fischer said about the situation.

The original report was that Ball had grown frustrated with the Hornets. That has Ball open to a trade from the only team he's played for.

Fischer said Ball hasn't asked Charlotte for a trade, nor is the team considering it right now.”

Yeah would work fine you’d just have to shuffle a few pieces around like trade Brunson for Giannis for example

If we make that trade I would wonder if Leon Rose was suddenly possessed by the evil spirit of Nico Harrison.

it wouldn't just based on LaMelo's personality

Brunson already has the ideal backcourt mates. He's not gonna average 28 ppg and put up 21 shots a game alongside LaMelo.

Even during a shooting slump Towns is more accurate than many of this board’s regulars. They don’t understand what playing the right way means lol

Last game he had 18 pts 14 reb and 6 ast and was +4 (the 4 missed ft hurt) the game before that 22 pts 15 reb 2 ast and +3. and that’s two games of him at his absolute worst. He actually has the 2nd highest plus minus on the team besides OG. It goes:

OG +127
Towns +96
Brunson +95

Then there’s a big gap the next being Mikal at +34

So this is at his absolute worst possible shooting slump with plenty of upside. The whole team at times looks discombobulated

Not even worried about it in the least

Regardless what you guys think of Lamelo this team as currently constructed isn’t championship caliber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So whether it’s Lamelo, Zion or even Giannis moves will be made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He might not even be the best circus passing point guard since Jason Williams.

I have not doubt changes could be made by that team, but none of them will end up with the Knicks. :D

I think Detroit could swoop in and get AD. I also looked at the contracts and they really would fit as a trade partner.

A package of Tobias Harris and Jaden Ivey, along one contract among Isaiah Stewart, Duncan Robinson, or Caris Lavert gets it done.

or Tobias Harris and Jaden Ivey, along with both Ron Holland and Paul Reed

Pistons don't need Jaden Ivey to win. Tobias is replaceable.

They'd have spacing issues offensively, but Cade, Duren, Thompson, and AD would be massive defensively

?Tobias is replaceable" You do know that could get you banned on this board? 8-) Gone with the Wingo!
