People celebrated when Rozier got suspended. I tried to tell everyone this is not a good thing and will likely not come to a conclusion until its too late to do anything

That was a good read on the situation, you called it a mile away. A possible solution might be to be ban Terry from a trade but give us an equal value trade exemption that expires at the end of the season just like Terry contract. That way we dont get to lose out on a possible transaction.

Trade exemption is the only way I can see the Heat getting some current relief from this situation. I do not see his contract getting voided until the trial has concluded. May be down the road the Heat gets compensated if Rozier gets found guilty.

Would fix our rebounding issues. Spacing now OK given Edrice has become a legit shooter.

Still, not sure Sabonis is worth the squeeze. I don’t hate it but let’s see if we can shake something better out.

This trade works contract wise.

Miami gets Sabbonis, Monk

Sacramento gets Herro, Terry, Jovic

Sac gets a young all star who will sell merchandise, an expiring and promising young player in Jovic.

For Miami, Herro and Terry have yet to play a game, and Jovic has been disappointing.

Imagine saving Sabonnis who would boost our rebounding IMMENSELY, while having Ware continue develop off the bench. That’s the best C/PF front court rotation in the league. And you get an offensive threat who’s shooting the 3 at an elite level this year in Monk.

Thoughts?

I’d like to see how Herro fits next to Powell personally.

Im skeptical because he didnt exactly work that well next to Myles Turner. They ended up having to stagger each other, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Sabonis is a perennial loser. Hes a turnstile on defense. Why do some many fans think the path to success us loading up on bottom tier defenders because that's what sabonis and monk are. They are regular season players.

Miami Heat's defense slipped back into the 5th spot in DefRtgs at 111.2. Ideally I believe the goal for the Heat's defense to the 109 ranges, below 110.

The main problem with the Heat is rebounding. The Heat are 28th in rebounding percentage at 66.%. The goal should be above the 72%.

Because of the bad rebounding, Heat are last in the league in giving up 2nd chance points at 19.3 points per game. The goal should be under 13 points per game.

Keshad Johnson has the potential to help in this area if he can get the rest of his game up to par. Last night, Spo gave Johnson a chance and he pulled down 11 rebounds.
