Houston has more talent and options, but Jokic is so much better than everybody else, it is borderline comical.

Hmmmm, I am not sure about the talent this year. Nuggets have a starting five of Murray - Braun - Johnson - Gordon and Jokic. This is better than Rockets' 5. Then you have THJ, Bruce Brown, Valanciunas and Watson from the bench (and this Spencer Jones guy looking promising as well). But the rotations are mostly Jokic with Watson (to cut and cover on defense) and THJ (to spread the floor) and Murray with Valanciunas (to mimic Murray - Jokic) and Bruce Brown (to help with bringing the ball up). This is a scary, scary lineup man.

They are second defensively in the league while being flawless offensively. They have the best player in the world by a mile and Murray, no matter how trash he plays, always steps up in the 4th.

A significantly worse version of Nuggets took OKC to 7 games. And they really choke game 5 and 6 uncharacteristically. I am quite confident this is the best team in the NBA rn.

meLo, its known you need recs on good bigs. So feel free to hit cap or me up we will point you in the right direction.

I’ve never watched him at all before this highlight reel. If he developed a 3 point shot perhaps he could be the next Julius Randle

Hell of twist on that ending. When i think of great passing bigs Randle is definitely at the top of the list.

But regarding derik queen ive never actually watched him play, as if id waste my time watching pels games. Ive only watched a handful of highlights. Even with queen looking legit the process is bad.

they (nuggets) also got a really flukey win in game 1 though otherwise could have lost in 5. but I agree they are a lot better this year. OKC was often not that impressive in the playoffs last year, including the finals. but they got it done. I would expect them to be better this year in the playoffs also.

agree, i was specifically talking about this game were they missed Gordon and Braun. Overall, Jokic has the most talent around him since he is there.

It really sucks he is on the pels cause his game is genuinely fun.

The only concern i have about his game is he looks a lil slow footed which might hinder him on defense but like I said I havent watched sht so idk if he is a bad defender or not. But in those highlights he looks smooooooth af, completelyunder control. Just sucks he is wasted playing for that franchise.

already having concerns about him when he's just a rookie :noway: BE BETTER GUAN0

but when it comes to his defense it is a bit sus. there's no way a front court of zion and queen will ever work. i think the pelicans are gonna move him

Trivia question: who said this?

"I’m not my best self when I take eight to 10 shots," […] said about his recent play. "I can be as efficient as you want me to be. But if I’m taking eight shots, it’s like, what are we doing?“

lol. Here’s a hint: he’s always been a losing player and - naturally - one of many such players who remain Knicks board’s favorites due to stellar, yet empty offensive numbers.

That's not true. They could have drafted and kept both. It was related to them still hoping to keep Ihart if anything.

blame overpaying OG if we're acting like a few mil made a difference in the Kat trade - but it didn't.

the team has simply been bad at having any foresight in the draft. they made just as bad decisions punting on Duren/J Dub in order to sign brunson (there were absolutely other ways to free up the money)

but going back to Ihart, the team absolutely was still holding out hope he would resign up until the very end. they potentially make different moves if they knew he was gone earlier in the process.

Return to New York Knicks
