Mike just ain't a head coach, he's an assistant.

We need toughness, honestly our whole roster is made of too nice guys, we need someone like feisty and edgy like Bane, Mo Wagner, or... Divo

I wouldn't be surprised that with Shamet's injury, it'll push the FO to scramble and make a trade hopefully for Divo

We need size...badly.

Keeping him really would have made all the difference in the world.

This is absolutely disgusting defense to watch
Night in and night out

It’s ass defense this year

I did bring it up in that thread. I do wonder if that was his call to bet on himself.

Yabu has been a disaster signing.

He's pretty much unplayable

can't play him with KAT because that two bad defensive players
can't play him with Mitch because he's too slow to guard 4's
can't play him without KAT or Mitch because then we have no rebounding.

KAT is the problem.

You can't have the tallest player on the court chucking up 3 pointers when he should be touching the ball below the free throw line.

If the tallest player on the court is chucking up 3 pointers you're making life easy for the opposing team, since it means they aren't in danger of committing fouls and having to change the way they defend.

For this current team Julus > KAT, because Julius is going to attack the paint and get the opposing team into foul trouble.

Teams don’t even need to set screens to get into the paint. You just need to be a 6’8” guy they just walk to the rim every time. Jaquez and Franz are similar skill sets with different levels of talent and it’s the same thing every possession. The roster might just be too small and their bets on other young wings didn’t not pay off.

Same team as last year. Changed the coach but didn't address the roster issues so I doubt it would matter if the last coach was still here or not. I still don't understand why they didn't address the defense and not try to get more size on the perimeter. With OG out having someone like Mitch guarding a skilled perimeter player with size is a joke but it's not like they had much better options.

Loading up on more small guards again and using the taxpayer MLE on Yabu and somehow going for more offense and less defense will never make sense to me. At this point i'm just hoping they find another OG type trade to re-balance the roster but i'm not sure what appealing pieces they have to offer without creating another hole.

Someone call Fred Katz and get him to ask Ihart if that’s what happened cuz it’s not like we’ll ever hear from Leon.

The team from a couple years back with Dante, Ihart, Julius was way tougher, more physical and had way more fight.
