Someone like Champagnie could provide some value who barely plays in Washington. Trade Dadiet for him and maybe sweeten with a 2nd rounder. He's a NY kid plays some defense and is tough. We need more of that.

Dadiet can't even get off the bench when we desperately need some size at the wing. He's useless to roster.

KAT is the problem.

You can't have the tallest player on the court chucking up 3 pointers when he should be touching the ball below the free throw line.

If the tallest player on the court is chucking up 3 pointers you're making life easy for the opposing team, since it means they aren't in danger of committing fouls and having to change the way they defend.

For thus current team Julus > KAT, because Julius is going to attack the paint and get the opposing team into foul trouble.

The team from a couple years back with Dante, Ihart, Julius was way toughest and had way more fight.

KAT being soft changed the identity of the team.

Kat is no Charles Oakley but I wouldn't say he's soft. He's more mentally weak at times and undisciplined.

I keep saying there’s one way to go about fixing the team without making any trades is either bring KAT or Brunson off the bench.

With that said the sky isn’t falling, there’s issues but you don’t have to blow up the team to correct them. I do wonder if a trade involving the lesser players can get us something to help with defense.

I could have sworn we were having the same exact conversations last year

it did get worse last year with the personnel changes. but mitch came back before the playoffs and it changed then. but they've seemed to regress even further in the regular season now. can they turn it on again when the playoffs come ? who knows. i don't think i trust mike brown to have the team prepared well on defense then.
