QB is it. We’d be in that Iowa/Illinois tier with Edwards.

Never seen Dupree as a guy with any juice until that play

Dupree looked not 100% running that out.

Great Deke by Hilton pretending a ball was thrown over his head.

He can complete a pass that travels more than 5 yards in the air. Smith can’t do that unless it’s a schemed wide open throw.

you sure about that?

There is no reason for Simmons to ever be on the field. I'd rather take the QB off the field and run a wildcat than run a play with him at QB.

Yeah agreed. Just clear that if the Badgers had Illinois schedule I doubt the records would be much different

We’re speaking the same language. Agree. And Illinois has had 2 seasons in a row of such luck.

There are some good signs here.

Also, let’s hope Posa clears the protocol for next week. Or the hand injury or whatever.

This is why I was all about Smith starting and kind of giving him some things to see if he could handle it He's shown some good things tonight. Obviously there are still some wtf moments but he's a freshman and he's shown improvement every week. If you're not going to make a bowl game you might as well play for next year and just see what you have.
