PG: Win ugly

Post#1 » by DASMACKDOWN » Sun Nov 23, 2025 3:28 am

This game was trash. We have the victory so Yay? But I am sorry this is not good enough with the effort lately.

Vooch with a good game 28pts 12rebs
Giddey with another triple double 18pts 12rebs 11asts

Coby had 20 but it wasnt a good game.
Ayo had a really quiet game with only 8pts
Matas had a good defensive game but was bad from 3.

Yes its better to have a W than an L but this wasnt a game to feel good about.

EDIT: And I see Vooch also was not happy about it either. Jalen Smith was about to get the business from Vooch as he was not in the mood postgame. I felt the same way too. Jalen Smith was going too far with the celebration while he was doing the interview.

Yeah that was odd Vuc was serious lol

He was frustrated and embarrassed with the effort. I hope he gets through to the other players.

Vucevic visibly mad, not upset, not annoyed, but straight up mad, during the post game is the right response.

Matas and Stix trying to cheer and he just wasn't having it. He knows what a "bad" win is and was trying to make the point to KC.

Vuc has been around long enough to know that some wins aren't worth celebrating. And given that he's the veteran leader of tbis team, it seems like he takes the role seriously.

Donovan has been especially bad the last 3 games. I don't know if the Bulls are fatigued or what, but he is making some boneheaded decisions with the rotations, and he's failing to adjust. Spoelstra and now this Wizards coach thoroughly outcoached him.

Basically KC was doing his normal post game interview. Matas and Smith came up behind cheering and jumping. Matas I think read the room first and quickly moved on. But Smith was right in Vooch's face but he was pissed off. Smith was basically say be happy man! Vooch wasnt having it.

But you will see a clip soon enough :D

I agree. I found his game to be very frustrating tonight.

Good for Vuc. That’s solid veteran leadership and you can tell they will talk about it after the game.

Embarrassing win. Great game from Giddey & Vuc, and nobody else.
Matas did provide some great D though.

Coby had some real facepalm moments in that one.

My conclusion of the Bulls: a team that depends offensively on one guy who is also the least dependable defensively to win.

Things going to get really ugly when Vuc is gone and Bulls don't have proper replacement.

Vooch was not having it...

And he's right.

I’ve been saying Billy D sucks going on four years now, so trust me I’m not surprised.

The unfortunate reality is that without Vuc this team is probably fighting to stay out of the bottom 4 in the conference. I know he has had a couple of bad games and people love to hate him. But he and Giddey are the only reason the Bulls are staying afloat. Two guys a lot of people didn't want on the team.

Can't imagine the emotional state of the board if AK stuck to his "not worth more than $20M" guns and Giddey would be a UFA this summer along with Coby and Vuc.
