I don't like KAT. There's just something about him that says loser. He seems like a cool guy off the court to hang with but he's not a dude you wanna go to battle with on the court. That being said I thought the same of Randle except he seemed like a douche off the court too. Trade worked for me at the time cuz it got Randle outta here but now it's time to get KAT packing as well.

This board wasn't constantly complaining about KAT, Mikal and the bench last year and calling the team soft before? The whole narrative was the team could only beat bad teams and got exposed against the top teams. Why are we pretending like none if this existed last regular season or even in the postseason especially the Pacers series?

League needs to take a long hard look at officiating and get this league is order. So many botched momentum calls in this game

I have this eerie feeling

Why would anybody go back to the team that fired them? Also is Brown really the issue? This roster is flawed, lacks redundancy, size, and ball handling.

The roster is better than last year
We needed a coaching change. However, they went and got the 8th choice
The roster is the same except for Clarkson. Yabu right now is worse than Achiuwa. And fundamentally we are still small, still don't have a dependable PG behind Brunson, still.dont.have a dependable big wing behind OG. You can't Coach those things into existence. The FO needs to figure this out.

The only thing you can point to the coaching staff in this game are the missed challenges. There were 2 key challenges that should’ve been made and would’ve been easily won that give us momentum

Because this season it's evident from the jump.

Reality. We lied to ourselves last year. Ee scapegoated Thibs. But the Magic were always going to be a problem.

You guys are losing your minds after one bad loss. We knew going in this would take time. Wait 30 games and evaluate then.

i think it was at the end of the 1st half when they missed a free throw and bane pushed someone out of the way (offensive foul) and tipped it in, and then literally just fell down on his own teammate - and they called it an and 1  nobody on the knicks even touched him. i think we had a challenge still at that point but didn't use it.

but yea there were tons of awful calls.

besides that, i felt decent about the game going into the 4th. i figured the magic would go cold at some point since they aren't known to be a good offense or shooting team. but they just kept raining 3s and we went cold.

They got destroyed in game 1 of the season last year which basically set the narrative about Mikal and KAT for much of the year. They were 9-6 also at this same time with the 22nd ranked defense with similar complaints about the team.

It wasn't until the end of November through the end of December when the team went on a little run where people really started to become more positive about the team. A lot of that positivity diminished once again when the Knicks had those 2 losses to OKC in early January. Last year wasn't some drastically different team at this point.

To call our offense “Great” at this point is a stretch, though

Facts don’t matter to the handful of posters here who still worship Thibs and froth at the mouth waiting to come out the woodwork after losses to hate on the players they dislike and the coach.

At this point a separate thread isn’t enough.. they need to make a separate forum for the actual fans who root for the team and actually want to see wins.

If we win a title tho.. these posters won’t be happy or be able to celebrate after the resentment they’ve created from spending so much time and energy on pure hatred.. makes you wonder why they even waste their time here. Just pick a different team. Sad
