Another great statement is that Jokic has never been on pace to leading any team to 70 wins.

Shai leading a team to 15-1 with his second option not even playing.

You are being obtuse. If Joker had the supporting cast/depth SGA had had for most of his Nuggets tenure, he would have won 4/5 chips/rings by now (minimum)

And if Gloria James had a daughter, we would have Stephania James playing in the WNBA instead.

We can play the hypothetical game all day or we can point out the facts of the season. I am going with the former.

Saying that Shai has a much better supporting cast is not a hypothetical. It's a fact.

But saying Jokic could have 4 chips minimum isn’t? Okay.

The current MVP and Finals MVP. And record pacing 16-1 best team without its second best player. Only facts I need.

To proclaim your next MVP because at Shai's pace, its his to lose. Better get the consipracy theories rolling and blaming Denvers cast for the 100th time.

If Jokic had Shai's supporting cast, he would massively reduce their output and quality of play due to his all time worst heliocentrism

People think you go 16-1 with just one guy scoring 30.

Do you think Jokic has a better supporting cast than Shai?

I mean people here all but seem to think you win 68 games and have the best net rating in history with any all star guard replacing shai so it evens out lol

I’ve seen the argument made for Luka, which is plausible given his production and the fact that he’s taken a team to the finals before. There are quite a few levels between All Star guards and Shai/Luka though.

You certainly don’t win 68 games and have the highest net rating in history with one great player. The Dubs don’t win 73 games without two of the greatest players of all time, two other HoFs and good role players.

No one said this though. There was literally one crazy comment (that OKC would win the championship without him). But I guess even that does not suggest they would win 68 without him, and have the best net rating, if we're being accurate.

I absolutely hate this trend of allowing the offensive player to push the defender out of guarding position and then calling the defender for making contact when they attempt to recover.
