I think a lot of folks get caught up with Queen not having good D. Defense is effort at the end of the day. Our organization is known for D, i'm sure with this group and right coaches they can help Queen in that area. I still feel like we missed out on someone like Queen who would fill nicely on this squad over CMB

Jase had a good game with some minutes. This guy a natural scorer....If i had my way in the draft i would have either drafted Queen at 9 , Or took that Pelicans trade for their 2026 pick and moved down to 23 and drafted this guy....

CMB hasn't showed me enough to be better than either or ^ and with Barnes on our team seems pretty redundant atm. Hope he can put together a string of good games though to prove me wrong..But if we had that Pelicans pick plus Jase i would be one happy Raptor fan.

After watching him steal the ball in a dribble out the clock situation and go dunk it I think he probably failed our interview.

He did that because Hawks traded him on draft night....He is petty Sim to Kobe and has a chip on his shoulder which could be a +....He won't do that in every situation but he said "They traded me on draft night" As to why he stole the ball....It can be off putting to some soft people but its also a competitive fire some players have and some don't

This cracks me up. Don’t change. Every rookie that has a decent game is getting hyped up by you even if they are averaging like 2ppg. Lol

Um are you dumb? I have been a Jase Richardson fan since forever....I been hyping him up predraft....I think he will have a great NBA Career....Not Hyping him up because he had a good game....He has also been injured with an elbow injury since pre season and hasn't been getting minutes.....Last night was his first game where he was injury free and got some run and had a good game....Go through my posts i was a fan of Jase and when i seen what the Hawks got for Queen on draft night and that Jase fell to 25 i said we missed out on taking that trade and not grabbing Jase...

Would you rather have CMB Or the Pelicans 2026 pick (Top 5) and Jase Richardson....If your answer is CMB idk what planet your living on or what you are smoking lol...

And Queen has been better than CMB so far....Hope CMB proves everyone wrong but i don't think he was the best pick at 9 especially if that trade with the Pelicans was on the table for us or Drafting Queen/Coward...

There's zero competitive fire stealing a ball from a guy who is dribbling the clock out after his team destroyed yours

Honestly, I figured a lot of players with talent and opportunity would show out in their first year more than CMB. Year 1 is almost nothing, just learn the game stay in shape and healthy and have a monster off season is all he needs to do. Queen was on everyone’s radar and dropped out of top ten but it’s no surprise he can play if given the green light.

Was ware on our radar? The man is even hitting 3s now at a 40% clip. Plus he’s a monster rebounder and can block shots. Would’ve been the perfect big for us.

Yeah, the chatter seemed to be him being Masai's guy, but then once it became apparent he probably wasn't going to be there at 19, seemed like Edey was their next target.
