Game 19: Bucks at Heat - 11/26/25 - 6:30 - FDSWI - Giannis Out

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Tue Nov 25, 2025 5:10 pm

A night before the game at South Beach used to mean an incoming Middleton hangover game but we don't have that anymore.

If you have family/friends in town for the holiday do something fun with them instead of watching this. Me, I'll be watching because I watch every game even if it's tough to watch

AS USUAL PLEASE KEEP ALL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ON THE GAME ITSELF. THANKS!
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I wonder what a coach like Spo could get out of our roster. He always pushes the right buttons and has guys succeeding... then there's Doc playing BP at center, Kuz at the 3, overextending bench units...

Anyways, Heat will probably crush us now that they have Herro back in the lineup and he looks like he hasn't missed time. If our guards could stop giving up easy penetration that would be great.

Also the big lineup isn't doing much in the rebounding department. Maybe a slight uptick, but at the expense of our fast pace we were playing with early in the season. Need to get back to that and getting 3's up. Rebounding will be an issue regardless until we make some trades.

Me: Kel’el Ware.
Casual: Who?
Me: Let's revisit this after he pulls down 30 rebounds tomorrow night.

Ware falling to Miami remains extremely annoying.

RS mentioned it in the PG thread, but this is a good breakdown of how Miami completely transformed their offense and are trying some pretty wild, creative, and effective stuff despite lacking talent.

This is what people talk about when they say coaching matters.

We'll be fine in this one as long as can stop.......that's right, we literally can't stop anyone.

An offense that has no connection is not great when it's all that you have to rely on because of our 'zero-defense' units

We’re going to win this and MD is going to jokingly post about how good Spo’s adjustments were post game.

Seeing it's a cup game, i'd expect to see Giannis listed as questionable.

Is that to avoid a fine or something?

There's no fine, it's a legit injury. They initially said 1-2 weeks and it's been a week+. Highly unlikely he plays though.

Yeah, after watching him in pregame last game, I'd be surprised if he doesn't go.

Giannis likes the cup. He's itching to get out there.

I'm only OK with him pushing if there's little risk of reinjury.

This is also a wonderful breakdown of how different defense is now that the illegal defense call no longer exists. Watch all those guys just standing there in those 80s/90s clips.

Thinking of just going up to like Hurley or something and just standing out in the blizzard. Seems like a better plan than watching this.

I watched like 8 or 9 games to start the season and bought into the fool's gold for a minute, but I think I'm where I thought I'd be back in June... done until Doc is gone... Horst too. I got mine in 2021 after 20+ years of suffering. Not going to go through this again. If we make the playoffs maybe I'll tune in a bit. But other than taking my boys to a game or two to pass the time, that's enough for me!

It will be fascinating whether we can defend this. Defending this is more about your players than your scheme. If we win this one, fire Greg Buckner immediately.

Rollins is enough to get me to turn it on at the start. He’s been rough but he’s been playing some killers and getting #1 treatment from defenses. That’s good reps and he’ll be better for it no matter where his ceiling is. Giannis plays I’m watching. Even if the results have been disappointing before Giannis went down, I was having fun watching this team play.
