GS still needs a center, although I'm ok with Horford for the playoffs, he could get injured and that would make it nearly impossible for GS to go multiple rounds into the playoffs. Green can only handle so many minutes and I'm not trusting Post in the playoffs yet. Center is a position of need, just find a "decent" vet center who can rebound and hopefully has some ability or better to shoot 3s. I think GS is better off with both Green and Butler not having to play up a position where they're playing small.

Just play post to soak up minutes in the regular season. He’s our +/- leader and can barely crack 20mpg.

We’re not going to find a decent vet center who plays defense, rebounds and has an ability to shoot 3s for any price we’d be willing to pay.

Might not get the 3pt shooting with a Center as EvenZ wants Claxton. I look at Dallas possibly rebuilding around Flagg and see both Gafford and PJ Washington both looking like candidates for being traded and both around 14 mil per year being very interesting targets for GS. So many possibilities for GS this year.

Gafford to me is worse than claxton and of those 3 I would still rather get pj who can start and close giving us a big poa defender and versatility.

Sure, but Gafford is 14 mil vs Claxton at 25 mil, that move allows you to possibly do more moves.

If we actually used post we wouldn’t even have a center problem. Kerr probably won’t even play gafford or claxton.

If he doesn't get hurt.

GS isn't even spending 10 million of its cap for their 3 centers.

He is old, that's how he was able to be signed for only 6 mil a year. That's a crazy price for someone you're hoping to use a lot in the playoffs which is the current plan.

Instead of playing "triple small", we need more "double big" lineups like the rest of the league is going to. Why do we never play Post AND Horford together? Has it been tried once? Just throw them out there in a zone.

I mean this is why Dray and Jimmy are going to get clobbered throughout a regular season. They're always doing all the banging.

I remember Kerr trying it early in the season though it may have been preseason

I know Moody is the guy everyone likes to root for but his last 5 games have not been any better than what JK was doing when he lost his job. We are also 1-4 over that time. One more subpar outing and I hope it’s back to JK.

Claxton is having a career year. Shooting nearly 70% from the line. Crazy A:T ratio. He's a perfect Warrior. Let's do this in a Speedy fashion. 8-)

Not exactly. Here is the full context:

One name that has come up in discussions around the league as a potential target for the Warriors is Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton. However, there has been pushback to such a scenario involving Kuminga, as the Nets could have pursued the young forward at any point during the summer while he was a restricted free agent. It doesn't appear as if Brooklyn has any interest in Kuminga.
