I will say that cowboy fans I’ve come across on this site tend to be more realistic than the ones I’ve encountered out in the wild. Hell, even last night I was at a cowboy fans house and one of them was saying they don’t think the cowboys are losing the rest of the year.lol

Yea I have family members like that. Lol
They actually tell me I’m not a Cowboys fan if I don’t think SB every year. I just remind them that they’re not even 30 yet and have no idea what a SB team even looks like.

It has started in my neck of the woods now. My phone rang all night and all this morning. Cowboy Nation talking about running the table now. Oh my. :gossip:

The Cowboys are peaking too soon. Back to back victories over the Eagles and Chiefs, possibly adding another in Detroit. That just screams a loss to a McCarthy led Vikings team. Because that's what they always do.

They still only have like 19 percent chance of going to playoffs. NFC is top heavy this year.

Seriously though i do not think Dallas can even make the post season this year given that there are 4 non-division leading teams with 7+ wins in the NFC. I'd be really surprised if they snuck in as a Wild Card.

Your boy Dak for MVP? :D 8-)  :onfire:

But we do have a Super Bowl caliber offense. :D

And the defense?

Having a stellar defense is pretty much a requirement.

There's only been one team in the last 10 plus years to win a Super Bowl & not finish with a top 10 scoring defense.

But, you already know that...right!?

Funny story but, I’ve been a member of another website called pro sports daily since like mid 2000s. They blew up their website which is why several of us came over here. There were several cowboy fans that are active today on this site that were also active on that site but for their protection, they will remain anonymous, but they know who they are.

Anyway, back in 2018 or so, there was an argument about who’s better between Brandon Graham and demarcus Lawrence. My argument was a pass rusher can positively impact a play without getting sacks. Pretty much every cowboy fan said “but sacks are all that matters”. lol.. I think that was the last year demarcus Lawrence had more than 6 sacks in a single year (before this year). In fact, Brandon Graham has retired once and still has more sacks since 2019 than demarcus Lawrence despite Brandon Graham playing in 9 less games.

To be clear, I think demarcus Lawrence is still a damn good player, but cowboy fans either think he’s sucked for the last 5-6 years or they changed their mind on the argument that “sacks are the only thing that matters”.

Nobody said that. lol
What was said is that sacks cant be dismissed. For DE sacks are probably the most important. Plus pressures.
Can I guy with fewer sacks be better? Absolutely.
In 2017 and 2018 DLaw was the better player though.
The funny thing is that he is known for his play against the run.
As far as why the cowboys didn’t resign him, he was a year older coming off an injury. I still support not resigning him but glad he’s having a good year in Seattle.

I said at the time they should have kept DLaw. He was still productive, and agreed to a very team friendly deal. He should have retired a Cowboy.

Its not like you to come to the table behind the 8-ball and not up to date.  Since the trade along with the addition of Hooker and Overshown coming back from injury, the Dallas Doomsday defense has been 5th best in the NFL beating both teams in last year's Super Bowl to top it of. Are you denying these facts? :wavefinger: :ouch: :reporter:
