That’s super interesting to me. He is a guy that that has started a lot of NBA games. Granted he has never been really good, but has had some flashes.

It's a fun signing at the very least. His 3pt shot was under 32% last year with the Nets, so probably not going to moving up the ranks to 2Way until that improves.

"He holds the NBA Draft Combine Record for the highest max vertical leap at 48 inches." That's the fun part. And Keon does have that NBA experience so maybe will get another chance with Celtics or elsewhere.

1st Rounders can't become Two-Ways.
Also, he's already past the 4 years of eligibility.

He could get called up to some Clubs for 10-Day Contracts.
And he can still sign a regular NBA Contract.

I learned something new today. Why didn't I know that? Anyway, thanks Parl. :D

Celtics do have a spot open, but I doubt they would fill it now with Johnson. More likely if there is a trade with two players going out, or filling an area of need after a trade, then Johnson could fill a spot from, say, departure of Simons if Simons brings back a big. Of course, there is also Harper Jr. in the wings on 2 Way, but they might want to keep him there for now. Besides, Harper and Johnson are very different players.

I'm not sure if KJ is much of a fit for the Celtics, but the dude has got bounce and might be the right type of young athlete for the slicing, cutting new-look Celtics.

Here's 6 minutes of fun with the acrobatic Keon:
