I didn’t think he’d reach this level at all. I was honestly a little nervous before the pick because a lot of people were saying he was like a 6’9 center with limited athleticism. He put up numbers vs grown men though before coming over and I think his height and athleticism were undersold. He’s put in a ton of work though because he’s taken serious strides defensively and as a shooter

This has gotta be the strongest class of MIP candidates in a while - Tyson, Sheppard, Avdija, Gillespie, Ajay Mitchell, Duren, Alexander-Walker, Jalen Johnson, even Giddey....and I'm sure I'm missing some. Guys are making leaps this year. Fun to see.
