Have you watched him this season?

He's basically Bronny out there

He's just holding down the fort until Kyrie returns.

The problem is that he just doesn't look like that Chris Paul anymore, not remotely. Even with him being washed—and especially because for all intents and purposes they can't waive him right now—I can't see that he would have been sent home by the Clips if his attitude wasn't seen as a detriment to the team. His point god abilities have always made his dickish persona palatable but no longer. He's been less point god and more god awful this season.

There is no denying he is a great, hall of fame player, but I am guessing he was clashing with the coaches, to the point where they considered him a negative asset both on and off the floor.

If Chris Paul wants a ring, no chance of him going to the Lakers...

I wonder if this is CP3...but if this is Clippers management deciding this against CP3 it's one of the most ruthless moves ever...CP3 is the greatest Clipper ever.

I hope CP3 signs with OKC or something.

I’m assuming that there was a blow-up that led to this, but I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t make an effort to resolve it internally. Then again, maybe nothing happened and they are pursuing a trade once a bunch of players become available on the 15th. Just a bizarre situation overall.

It’s hard to know what happened behind the scenes, but the announcement came at a strange time and doesn’t seem well crafted. It also doesn’t seem like Chris Paul even knew about it before it was announced.

If this is it for him it’s a particularly sad end to his career.

Yeah. I have no specific guesses about the contents of the hypothetical conversation(s) besides the obvious.

I'm just generally guessing that the odd public sense of urgency about dumping him derived from conversations in private.

CP0 is the most washed up player of the league currently and it's not even close (this is saying a lot when Lebron is still out there padding his stats playing). He should just retire.

At least you don't try and hide your bias anymore lol.

OKC is repeating bro.

I like how people keep ignoring their dominance.

Is Chris Paul really washed, or just he didn't wash well with Clippers?
He looked nowhere near washed last season for the Spurs, played all 82 games and a tasty 8.8 points, 7.4 assists, .427 field, .377 downtowners

#1 Lakers got exposed already by OKC. Not a real contender.
#2 OKC is his only option if he wants a championship.
#3 Denver probably his 2nd best option, but OKC still the favorites.

Father time is undefeated. Look at Lebron he's declining rapidly.
