This says they have their own 26, 28, 30, and 31 picks. Can they not trade those?

I think RIchard Miller is right, because the 2027 and 2029 picks could theoretically into turn into 2028 and 2030 oicks if they don't convey. So Denver doesn't know 100% if they'll have their picks in 28 and 30. My guess is they cannot trade a single pick right now.

Edit:
Oh, and I had a thinking error, because they can't trade 28 and 30 either way.

Here's a list of tradeable first and swaps. Denver could only offer two swaps: https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/tradeable

Damn, Denver is ****. Jokic's best chance at winning another title is asking for a trade.

Seems like Giannis wants out but isn't willing to go nuclear with it, and the Bucks are content to just ride the train to the end of the line. Still don't think anything happens until Giannis tells them definitively he's not signing the extension he's eligible for next October. If we get to that point, there will be a short list of teams with whom Giannis would sign an extension and the Bucks will have to pick the best offer from those teams. I don't think Giannis will ever go full nuclear and say I'm only going to one specific team.

Doubtful. He wanted to get onto the all time scoring list, and the Bucks provides the perfect ground for him to pad stats.

Giannis will first demand Bucks trade their last remaining draft picks for a win now move that will backfire horribly and then leave in the summer.

Adam Silver knows where the money is, and it's Giannis to the Knicks. I don't know how they pull it off with their draft pick situation, but probably something like "Bucks GM met with Knicks GM in a diner where they shared eggs and bacon, and Bucks offered Giannis for KAT straight up with no picks involved".

Knicks are the play, they just need to re-route Towns.

Towns+ 30 and 32
Towns to Pistons for Tobias/Stewart 26/28

4 1sts. Probably gonna need to add OG outgoing to a third team to get more value

Bucks should take Scottie Barnes for Giannis and run

Don't be surprised if Blazers try to get in on it. Grant, Sharpe, RW3, Bucks picks back and two of Portland's own picks.

Imagine a Jrue, Camara, Avdija, Giannis and Clingan lineup. Defensive potential through the roof.

Oh, the Pistons are going to facilitate a trade, for the Knicks, in the same conference they currently lead at 17-4, and trade away two players, plus picks for KAT?

Yeah, not gonna happen. Makes zero sense.

My expectation; Anteto is gonna force his way to the Lakers.

The Lakers can put a package around Austin Reaves, Hachimura, Knetch and all the draft capital that they have available for a trade.

Is that enough? Probably not, but i can see it happening.

I lik Stewart, but Harris is just filler. The 26 pick is gonna be bad. This is a really good price for Towns who can recreate the twin towers that was successful in Minnesota

But ya, i get not wanting to help Knicks get Giannis.

Giannis wants to be a Knick. If the Bucks want that rafter HOF relationship with him, they'll fulfill his wish no? that means KAT and ?? McBride? and picks going back to Wisconsin.

Blazers are definitely an interesting option with the Bucks picks. The only problem I see for Milwaukee is the picks/swaps are from 2028 to 2030. So the Bucks would have a transition period were they are bad and don't have their own picks.

Its gonna cost the Knicks a HELL of a lot more then that.

Start with Kat/OG, and then start adding. Its gonna gut the Knicks, and put Giannis in the same position, just a few states over.

With only 2(?) 1st's to trade, it would have to be Towns and either OG or Bridges, in a multi team deal.

Giannis may want NY, but i think it's too complicated in-season.

Hawks hold the #1 pick as we speak in a great draft. Giannis gets to stay in a weak East. I'd make it happen

Just stay out East if you're not coming to the Lakers, that's all I ask.

Knicks have 0 first rounds picks to trade.

Kat + OG for Giannis + Kuzma?

At least would rid the Bucks of Kuzma's contract if they can't get picks back in the deal.
