They don't have any picks to trade, only swaps. And New York with Giannis will be better than the Bucks without Giannis forever, so swaps have no value at all for Milwaukee.

Trae Young/Risarcher/Bucks 1st? Bucks get their own pick in a great draft (+ the Pels, so 2 shots at jumping) and a decent prospect who'll be cheap for a couple more years, and they can see if Trae can get back to top 15 player material.

Hawks change Trae into an MVP candidate while keeping their best young talents (JJ/DD) and all their picks moving forward.

Its gonna cost the Knicks a HELL of a lot more then that.

Start with Kat/OG, and then start adding. Its gonna gut the Knicks, and put Giannis in the same position, just a few states over.

What do you think of Pistons adding Giannis to pair him with Cade , obviously Tobias for salary matching and boatload of picks plus one of your one talents have to go to Wisconsin

But that would make Pistons instant East contender, West not so much this year but beyond with Cade development I can see them as a contender

Giannis to the Hawks makes a lot of sense, which would suck for the Spurs, as we hold their Draft Pick this year and a Pick Swap next year.

Only deal I can get espn trade machine to accept that is just a knicks bucks deal, is kuzma + giannis for kat + OG. you can’t do kat for giannis. the bucks, or a third team are going to have to desire kat for this to be possible as far as I can see.

You wouldn’t do it but you can’t even do brunson + hart

Atlanta with the Pelicans pick is the answer, even if Giannis wants the Knicks. Maybe they owe him that but the Bucks are a business first and need to recover from this trade. Getting KAT and junk won’t inspire the season ticket holders.

Can’t believe this is finally happening though.

Whoever gets him (if traded by the deadline) gets 1.5 seasons of Giannis before his player option comes up.

I expect he'll go to the Spurs or maybe the Rockets, but wouldn't mind seeing him in Charlotte.
Ball/fillers and picks.

But I don't see him agreeing to remain there long term so probably not the best idea.

I assume Milwaukee would then flip Trae Young for picks as it wouldn't make much sense keeping him. Going full-rebuild would make a lot more sense.

Trae would be a hard salary to absorb though, no?

If the Bucks want Holland/Ivey/Harris+ 1sts+some of the 12 2nds the team has, fine.

No Cade/Ausar/Duren/Robinson.

I would be fine with it. Pistons are one of the very, very few teams that have assets and picks to land Giannis, without gutting the team.

If not, go rot in a gutted team elsewhere. Pistons are in a unique position. Super young core+leading the conference = don't have to do anything as the team grows.

Yea ignore that. Trae likely wouldn't be involved after looking at salaries. My bad. It would likely be Porzingis + Risacher + 3 or 4 First Round Picks.

Love Giannis, but I've been saying for awhile that we should trade him. Bucks emptied the clip twice. First time it won a championship, second time it blew up and cost us everything. I wish he could retire a Buck, but it's just silly to keep a top 3 player in a KG-Timberwolves purgatory

Bucks had to be on drugs to do this deal , I checked on google and Nico is not employed by Bucks so far

A projected trade with ATL would likely be:

Hawks receive:
- Giannis

Bucks receive:
- Jalen Johnson
- Risacher
- 2026 NOP 1ST
- 2027 MIL 1ST
- 2 More UFRP's

Where are all those bucks fans that harass people for even insinuating this might be happening? :)

That’s why I think Pistons makes the most sense for both Pistons and Bucks

Especially if ATL is offering that Pelicans pick in this loaded upcoming draft. That has a chance to be top-3. Plus you'd get Risacher, Porzingis, and 3 or 4 more FRP's. Then you could flip Porzingis and Myles Turner for more draft capital and be loaded with picks moving forward. I'd take that deal if I were Milwaukee over the other projected offers that I've seen.
