The Knicks front office would belong in prison if they managed to trade Towns for Giannis. He's looked pitiful.

Giannis/Gary Trent Jr.

Why in the world would Milwaukee do this?

Those picks if they include the 32 pick are golden

I don't think we can include the '32 yet? At least when I checked a trade site.

It's not a great offer but it's at least some picks, the white ohtani, and a guy that makes it so you don't completely suck/be unwatchable while you don't have your own picks in Jimmy.

Other teams have better offers, just entertaining myself. I don't see Giannis requesting the Warriors, especially considering his family supposedly is now in Greece? That's an extra long flight.

Duren, Ivey, Tobias, LeVert and a pick package (the picks aren’t high value, only have own firsts).

If it’s New York, as reported, what do they have to offer Milwaukee that the Bucks actually want? Surely not KAT, and they won’t trade Brunson.
Trajan Langdon has a good thing goind. I would hope he would do what it takes to not have to include Jalen Duren.

I don’t see it, though. Without Duren, any offer would gut the team. And the Giannis/Duren fit is sketchy anyway. Stew fits way better with GA.
That makes sense.

Does Miami have 1-2 FRP’s to trade?
Bam and fillers for Giannis?
I don’t mind him going to the Knicks but I don’t think it’s plausible with Knicks not having any picks to attach.
Anywhere but not in the West.

it sucks that the nba has a rule that superstars can only be traded to couple of teams

Didn't know that, just assumed it was because they will say, I Will only resign with new team if it's the ones they want, didn't know it was an actual rule?

Any teams can do what the Spurs and Raptors did with Kawhi. Most GM's don't have the balls to risk it all for one year like the Raptors did though.

Interesting that the Bucks won't open up a sweepstakes for Giannis. They are just going to allow him to pick a team and work with that.

That means teams like the Knicks, Lakers and maybe even Raptors have a chance.

I wouldn't take any of that as gospel.

Doc Rivers is a basketball assassin. So is Bucks GM Jon Horst. Both should be kicked out of the state of Wisconsin and never be allowed to return.

Isn't it a myth that Raptors risked that much, considering that DeRozan was very overrated, and Raptors were basically an annual playoff disappointment? After all, they were a +6 SRS team in 2020 without both Kawhi and DeRozan. If Giannis is obsessed with playing for the Knicks and Spurs are asked to trade Castle, Harper and picks, let's say - this is an actual risk.

The reality is, he has a player option in 1.5 years so if a team he doesn't want to go play for trades for him... you're likely risking a bunch of assets for 1.5 years of a star that isn't happy being there. Leonard situation was a bit different because that team was loaded with good vet players.

Pretty much no lottery level teams are going to have any interest in trading for him and half the playoff teams don't have the assets or contracts to match up, etc.... So at most it was going to be 7-8 teams but likely he gives a list of 3-4 teams.

As an Utah fan I wouldn’t want to trade for him. And Utah is probably top 5ish of teams with good picks to trade. But Utah would have to trade Lauri and probably Ace or Keyonte to get him and be a terrible team and in the same situation as the Bucks are in right now. So it doesn’t even make sense.

So what other teams have salaries to match, at least one good young prospect to trade, and 4-5 FRP’s to trade AND can have a decent team after they make that trade? Not many teams come to mind.

Atlanta. Jalen Johnson and the NOP pick this year.

Probably take more picks than just that pick. But that’s an enticing offer since that NO pick has a very good chance at a top 3 pick.

Way too much IMO. Wemby has to prove that he can stay healthy first before even thinking about making such a deal.

He’s going to be on the Spurs as long as the Spurs want to acquire him.

Why the hell Giannis was on the floor after asking for a trade ???

They must have shut him down until he was traded.
This is terrible management :banghead:
This will change the future of the franchise if the injury is serious like it appears to be...
I would fire on the spot the entire front office if I were the Bucks' owner.
The fans deserve better...
