If Giannis wants out and knows that his days in Milwaukee are numbered. He's a lame duck player.

At that point what would be the point of suiting up in a Bucks uniform if you're Giannis?

You're going to risk potentially blowing out your Achilles or major injury and then miss out on a legitimate chance to win a championship with the Knicks (Or other team) so that you can help the Bucks try to stay in 11th place in the East?

It would actually be dumb to suit up from Giannis' perspective. But obviously he can't come out and say "I refuse to suit up for the Bucks over the next month or two until I'm traded." His reputation in Milwaukee would be toast.

Some of us are old enough to remember Terrell Brandon.
