So you think he faked a injury...
If so what does he gain for faking a injury?
doesnt risk future injury, can rest for a playoff run, signifigantly less media availability while hes hurt, can focus on his next team with his agent and the bucks.
So…Giannis is Definitely Going to Demand a Trade Right?

Re: So…Giannis is Definitely Going to Demand a Trade Right?
This isn’t a eBay auction. you are discounting the human element. The Bucks may choose another option just out of spite. We just saw that when Portland traded Dame. They resented how they were trying to fix the market and traded him elsewhere. The Knicks do NOT have the assets to get Giannis without including Brunson. So I don’t see that trade happening unless they can somehow get valuable picks by trading Towns and Bridges. The Master wrote:Effigy wrote:We'll see. If the Knicks' offer isn't that good, then the Bucks (if they even decide to trade him) might just do an F you deal to somewhere else. If you're getting a D+ package offer from the Knicks, who cares if you settle for a D- package somewhere else.
Well, if they have on their table a D+ offer from the Knicks and D- package from somewhere else - he'll go to the Knicks. But we don't know what Giannis truly wants for now, he may be fine with playing alongside Wemby in San Antonio, who knows - my point was that Giannis has a leverage to dictate effectively where he'll land because regardless of how great he's as a player, his contractual situation is tricky from perspective of any team not getting a promise of guaranteed extension or stuff like that.
So it's not conspiratorial, he has basically a 1.5y contract and can say 'I'll sign an extension only with the Knicks' (or whichever team). Giannis is a wonderful asset only if he doesn't willingly hardball other teams on the market.
On 'open market', there are several teams ready to outbid the Knicks, I suppose.

Unfortunate for us because whether he ends up being paired with Shai or Wemby, the league is doomed. Hopefully he goes to the Lakers instead to balance things out for parity sake. Can't let Shai just win everything.
What kind of mental illness is this?
still learning the game

Re: So…Giannis is Definitely Going to Demand a Trade Right?
I find this whole vultures circling around the struggling Bucks and try swoop Giannis really distasteful and a bad look overall to the league (mainly talking ahout the media in all honesty)
Last few days and weeks must be a pretty awful timr for Milwaukee fans, especially on this forum.
Not enough consideration for their feelings has bern factored in and.i don't believe any non Bucks fans does try bait them delibrately (unless they suggest ridiculous low ball offers for Giannis) but i don't tjink many fans probably understand how many Bucks fans would be seriously hurting over possiblly losing the best player in their franchise's history.

The Bucks fans saying this is a fake injury don't deserve him. Never did tbh.
Like if he wants out he must pretend an injury....he can't just ask out. Smh

Giannis having the same injury a year ago. Notice how the lead up and reaction look astonishingly similar.
This fake injury stuff is in really poor taste

they forgot lower asking price for an injured player. he doens't want a team to gut itself to get him. he saw the Lilliard trade firsthand.
Not that I think it's fake, I don't think that, but i understand why conspiracy people would think so, it would be in giannis favor to not be playing for the weeks leading up to his trade.

These look very different to me. The fall from last year looks far more natural.
