More proof of LaMelo being impactful, still a top 15 offensive Lebron player in the league even while shooting poorly.

You'll never convince the neanderthal fans who don't closely watch the games though. We're still unwatchable without LaMelo. He's the only one who can play on ball and create.

maybe with the Clippers disintegrating the Hornets should trade for James Harden

(something like Sexton Grant Connaughton+ '26 ORL 1st would get Clips back in the 1st rd this year)

bring Harden to Charlotte FOR THE PURPOSE OF TEACHING LAMELO HOW TO DRAW FOULS

Re: long history of trouble getting calls, I think it's just a ref unintentional bias from being so bad fit so long. The split second mental dialogue is, "Charlotte is bad, swallow the whistle unless it's egregious, in which case it's a foul before the shooting motion, good luck inbounding the ball, losers."

Was excellent last night I thought, best game since Washington by far. Hopefully it will continue now that the minutes restrictions are gradually lifted. Felt like he was playing way too tight and struggling to get into rhythm due to the minutes restrictions.

A legitimate ankle injury after all this time load managing it. Predicting we don't see him till End of January and then he only plays another 10 to 15 games before being shutdown
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Washington have to have a top 8 pick this year to keep it, then they only owe 2 seconds to Knicks.

So an injured Lamelo could be perfect for Washington but would what they give up is the big question

Middleton or McCollum work as the main salary for Melo and are both expiring.

One of them + one of their young players + a draft pick for Melo.

The Hornets may have to move Ball to off guard to save his career. Can't break ankles with broken ankles.

I've read the comments in recent articles regarding Ball's trade value, school yard attitude and playground playing style. Agree with all of it. But I still believe he's best to remain in Charlotte both for his value to the Hornets and his personal marketing profile. In Charlotte he's a franchise-level star. Anywhere else he'll be constantly rehabbing his Mr. Glass reputation.

I don’t think the Hornets have much of a choice. His Mr. Glass rep is real, on full display every few weeks, and we are STUCK with him. Any team that might deal for him between now and the deadline will only pay a meager price, or require us to add the pick into a deal for someone worth anything.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I think people are being a little dramatic about this. It looks like he lightly tweaked the ankle he hasn't had any surgery on. I don't see any reason yet to think this is serious at all. They should probably hold him out a couple weeks to be safe since they are obviously trying to tank.

7ft 250lb Kalk rolled his ankle worse and played the next game.
