Wonder if this is the last year that Philly rolls with George and Embiid. Or maybe they don't have a choice because their contracts don't match their actual value so it's not like any other teams would want them.

If LeBron can put up that kind of performance, LA's ceiling is very high.
Offense looked good except for Brick Reaves. LA dug in on defense in this one.
so far lebron looks tired enough to simply enjoy playing those roles.
screw these absolute garbage refs

OK?
Dude if we get a 27 year old Lebron and Luka going nuclear maybe we make it out of the 2nd round.
This team is full of holes. We got no defense we've got no athletes.
Sure, but there are a lot of teams with worse result so far than the Lakers. I don't know what Pelinka will do until the trade deadline but their biggest question mark so far was Lebron, that's potentially over 50M in salary doing nothing. So, if he plays like this, that's already a great sign. Luka also won't be jet lagged every game and AR also won't shot 19% from the field.

naw...its more on JJ at this point...that team has ENOUGH, scoring, passing, talent,IQ, defense and Heart to win this year..... this team is talented
Ayton, Rui and AR would be the core of a good team...add LEBRON AND LUKA then wtf we talking about? they are talented as hell... this is a good team. they need to be coached

I can see why people want OKC to trade for Giannis. They want to strip mine them of all these assets (and good players). Good luck.

He's not retiring this year lol.
Nobody know that for sure right now
He's not. TV networks and Silver will literally beg him not to because they want that farewell season tour ala Jordan/Kobe. I'm sure they want to do the same with Steph when it's his time to go. They want to give Lebron the biggest farewell tour we've ever seen in modern sports.

Still need defense. Will they be able to get stops in the playoffs if their three best offensive players are all turnstiles? Probably not.

I disagree 100%.,...no team is perfect. what ever defensive issues they have...skinny luka, AR and LeBron will give you enough defensive effort and enough unstoppable offense to compete with anyone.

I dont think they have to be turnstiles....you can actually coach team defense when you got willing bigs and engaged intelligent wings...just give some resistance and get rebounds,....you need to pull Lukas defensive advanced stats this year...he isn't the problem he used to be...lebron still old AF but he isn't the wing defender

If you're starting Luka-Old Bron-Reaves for 37+ minutes a night in the playoffs, how do you expect them not to be a bad defense? This is an honest question. You need them on the floor for offense, but they will not be a good defensive group. You really think Rui and Ayton will be able to save them defensively?

naw you are making a great point....but thats on JJ...JJ is a 16 year old that has a rich dad and he is letting his sons first car be a Lamborghini... they need to get a better coach to drive this team.
