I'm still confused on what his injury is, all I've heard is knee sprain, but not which ligament is actually sprained which is normally reported.

It's likely a grade 1 knee sprain, which on average is a 1-3 week recovery.
It's been under 2 weeks since his injury, so expect him to be back in a week or so. The team obviously isn't rushing him at all.

Again, knee sprain? That the mcl? a grade 1 acl sprain requires surgery and an 8-10 month recovery. Grade 1 PCL sprain could be months. Is it the meniscus? My point is there is the meniscus (2 parts) and the acl, mcl, lcl, and pcl so 6 ligaments in the knee that can be sprained. They just said knee sprain which is weird and doesn't make sense.

Re: Injury Status Updates
After tomorrow's game, if they lose, they have nine days off while the NBA Cup playoffs continue. So, 10 days more to heal up, possibly even a practice or two towards the end of the 10 days

Re: Injury Status Updates
If this is ACL:
https://www.nfl.com/news/ryan-tannehill-not-believed-to-need-full-acl-reconstruction-0ap3000000780675
Seems good...but then
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ryan-tannehills-reportedly-significant-knee-injury-didnt-have-to-go-down-like-this/
There isn't bloodflow to the ACL so it doesn't heal and even a grade 1 sprain requires surgery or it will tear more and more until fully torn.

Pretty sure we’d play the loser of Miami/Orlando. But we should still get a good amount of rest days.

What is the purpose of playing the loser of Mia/Orlando? if we win are we back in the Tourney?

Just don't like how he downplayed the injury and made it seem like a nothingburger.

How did he downplay it? He just said the news looked good which when looking at the alternative for non contact knee injuries, it was.

The whole "knee sprain" rather than MCL sprain and the platelet injections also have me fearing the worst.
Meniscus is the other ligament you see platelet injections for so hoping it's that instead.

I'm pretty sure the games for the losing teams just count as standard regular season games.
