I love PB for Giannis in the off season when PB extension kicks in. There's no world where Orlando can give up both of its cornerstones for Giannis. They will just become the Orlando Bucks at that point. Orlando would need some assurances that Giannis is willing to extend though.

I agree but that team isn’t competing with bane and Suggs as your two best players after Giannis. But keep Franz and yeah that quartet could work.

How much does it cost to dump Isaac into Brooklyn’s cap space or Utah’s TPE? Playing with Giannis/Portis/vet min for Paolo/Suggs/Isaac/Howard.. Orlando still has a stack of future 2nds.

Do you find the fourth team to trade a guard for Portis? I think that’s where I would go.. But you could decide to trust in Black/Tyus and keep Portis, dump Goga to get under the tax..

Is there a 3 team framework that makes sense where AD/Caleb/DLo go to LAC, Harden/filler (i.e. Brandon Williams) go to Orl, and Suggs/Collins/Filler (i.e. Jett) go to Dallas? LAC and ORL are both draft capital dry just like Dallas, so it would suck not getting picks for AD. But just a thought.

I would think LAC’s potential interest in AD would be around Zu/Collins/salary.. I do think there’s a deal there for LAC to be the Garnett Nets and just hope AD/Leonard/Harden stick together all the way through their declines..

Directionally no from Memphis. AD is not a missing part. And we are not a title contender. And Aldama is still growing.

The number and protection (or lack thereof) of the picks really factor into this, as KCP is a bad value, and Konchar is barely playable.

Dallas trims 10-12 mil (you ideally find a home for Exum and don’t buy him out, but 10 mil if you buy him out) this season and more next season and doesn’t take on any money after that.

I would prefer expirings as well, but I don’t think Dallas will get much extra value for taking two year deals versus expirings. Something for sure, just not a lot. But still like Memphis adding AD if they are keeping Ja. Big if though..

Dallas gets two firsts and a swap for AD. Doesn’t save money this season, but a lot next season.

Boston gets under the tax and gets the center to get them through Tatum/Brown era.

The Clippers get a “big three” that actually could compete for a year or two if they ever share the court.. Only three games out the play-in somehow. Extend AD, Hope Leonard and Harden want to get paid one more time. maybe Beal wins come back player of the year next season..

Yea i think this one is creative. Though if I were Dallas Id push hard for Hauser coming to Dallas and either Klay or Caleb going to LAC instead. Though the former may make too much for the $ to work
