The greatest irony to me is if you watch the games, Bam's skillset hasn't changed at all. He's about as developed there as he has been since like year 2 or 3 of his NBA career. The biggest improvement is his reaction times and making decisions quicker, which has nothing to do with training with a WNBA player. Its obviously something he worked on with Spo and the offense as a whole.

And I'm sorry if it hurts anybody's feelings, but the WNBA is a **** joke and travesty of a league that does not deserve to be subsidized by the NBA, and its only lasted this long because we live in a society that is willing to fund things based on ideology even when it makes zero business sense. High school men deserve a professional league before women do.

I am able to enjoy the WNBA for what it is.. there are some games that im like yea that was entertaining to watch all the way..

Most games though, im done watching after 3-4 minutes in the first… it can be hard to watch.. there will be some games that it is like … imagine 10 women with handles like Jaylen Brown, hitting the bottom side of the rim on layup attempts like Josh Richardson, all on the court at the same time…

But i dont hate the wnba.. the aces, liberty, and the fever put together some good games and ive heard the liberty home games in the arena are must watch pre game and all the way to the end.

I'll never watch the WNBA at all until they lower the rims. You have a smaller ball, a closer 3 point line, just lower the rims already...there's no reason not too. It's like watching kids basketball if there is nothing ever happening above the rim lol.

Yeah I'm not big on getting Ja Warrant at all unless it costs next to nothing. He doesn't defend, is inefficient, braindead, and injury prone.

Clowns on twitter obviously. I never disagreed with you they exist, just that they don't really post on realgm. Opinions here range from he's a good but flawed player and may not work out, to he's trash and get him the hell off my team.

Lost 5 out of their last 6. Play with zero pride and consistently get outcompeted.

This is not a good team specifically now that the offense has been exposed. Should be sellers not buyers especially since you basically have no shot at an elite talent. Longterm move is to sell on Norm and Wiggins to gain a real stash to compete for the next guy, invest real PT in young guys

I think if they give up on the idea of competing this year and lose the Giannis sweepstakes, getting whatever picks you can for any combination of Herro/Powell/Wiggins has to be explored. None of them fit our future if we aren't competing right away, either due to needing to be paid (Herro) or age and future contract (Powell/Wiggins).

agreed. not sure why Giannis joins this team though. There are at least 2 first round picks and a couple prospects to gain from Wiggs and Norm. I would love to not pay Tyler and move forward from that but FO does love him.

As for winning... not sure a 6'9 C a 6'7 lanky PF, a 6'3 slow footed SF and then a SG who's 1 of the worst defenders in the game is a winning formula.

Save this post if you'd like, bring it up in 5 years and see if I was right, but I'm gonna state on the record now, Ja Morant is going to age like, actually age worse, than Allen Iverson did. And whoever actually makes a move for him is going to regret it within 2 years.

Defense has gone to **** too. DRTG of 117.6 in the last 6 games. 21st in NBA. Yikes.

Herro is a v good player.

But the Mitchell herro normal Wiggins bam lineup stinks defensively. And offensively we havent adjusted to the others teams obvious adjustments of our new look offense.

Herro coming back ruined our rhythm and lineups for better or worse. Its on spo for not manning up and benching someone and realizing its best for the team. JJJ is back to 2024 version. Fontecchio is ice cold. Ware playing like garbage ever since he got benched.

Teams have streaks and stretches, but man last few games have been unwatchable

Defense sucked in the 2 games Herro missed with his toe issue too

It's pretty sad that the Celtics could lose Horford, Porzingis, Jrue, and Tatum from last year and still have a better record and point differential than us so far haha.

I blame a lot of the recent losses mostly on Spo tbh and some terrible shot selection which is in turn his fault because his rotations are leading to these imbalance. Andrew Wiggins at the 4 has to be over after tonight or I'm gonna have write out and burn my predictions in sacrifice for my sins of writing them. I really didn't think Spo would find a way to return to the itty bitty midget committee but here we are. We got absolutely annihilated tonight after coming out hot and most of it happened because they amped up their physicality and Spo let them run Pablo and one of their 3 big men on rotation while leaving Ware on the bench where it's clear he doesn't get the same level of engagement.

To top all of this off we continue to consistently waste game reps and development on players that have no chance of being here long term and certainly don't warrant the reps. Fonty over Jovic is absurdity.

Powell was looking at 30M per year from the Clippers, he might be looking for more from the heat.

70-90M per year for a herro/powell backcourt is expensive.

It’s gotta be all hands on deck for Giannis, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for Patrick. This is why you’ve been reluctant to trade your grandson all these years when the trade likely could’ve put us over the top. No more messing around, we won’t have another opportunity of this level until MAYBE Ant and even that is a few year away probably, LOCK IN!!

Man at this point wtf would Giannis would to come here. Team looks bad healthy and will have to gut a good chunk of assets for him. He's probably looking at it as if after they add me how do we get more/better talent to add to the team.
