So should we expect daily Borrego updates going forward?

I'm a fan of Borrego, who is a former head coach of the Hornets, and this is the "around the NBA" thread in the Hornets subforum, so deal with it.

We've performed virtually identically offensively over that time period.

This OKC team is so absurd. Skinny Luka is the only one who has any chance of putting a stop to this nonsense in the playoffs.

Only thing stopping OKC over the next 3 years is injury. Crazy NBA got their Kansas City Chiefs. Whatever I'll take it over LeBron fraternizing his way to another ring
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Wemby and the spurs are probably their competition in the next few years. Castle and Harper are looking good, Fox is showing he’s still got it.

Yep, the Wemby injury isn’t stopping the Spurs one bit. NBA has birthed two monster teams via various means, but kudos to those organizations for assembling great supporting players up and down the rosters. We Hornets fans are laughable…dreaming our little collection of oft injured talent could ever seriously compete. Not in this era. In the good old days you could have big strong goons beat up the pretty boys and overcome blatant talent imbalances, cause the league allowed physicality. Now it’s just physical until the refs start calling their star power fouls.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

It always bothered me their Spurs reloaded around Wemby so fast.

Just another reason for me to believe the draft lottery is rigged.

It's under the radar, but the Spurs had the #2 pick after just having back to back ROTY picks in Wemby/Castle.

They didn't need Harper, yet here we are. Also forgot to mention the Fox trade which was pretty big news.

Thanks Silver

What does the NBA stand to gain financially from rigging the draft for the San Antonio market? San Antonio is the 31st largest TV market in the US. Charlotte and Raleigh are 21st and 22nd, for a local comparison.

Yeah congrats to the Spurs for getting gifted draft lottery luck every year and having had Fox fall into their lap for virtually nothing.

Give them their deserved credit lol.

Daily Borrego update: New Orleans dropped 143 with 36 assists against Portlands defense without Zion.

I'm happy for Bryce. He was by far my favorite from that era of Mitch projects.
So far he's outlasted bouk, thor and kai. Might outlast nsj. We'll see.

Bouk might eventually make his way back to the league if he keeps shooting threes at the percentage he's currently doing in the g league. Kai signed a one-year deal to play in turkey. No idea where Thor is playing right now.

I was about to post about Bryce as well. Talk about a dude who kept at it!

Was ready to write him off several times but here he is still battling. 3 point shot is starting to look good which enables that driving game of his

Indeed, very impressive win by the Spurs over the seemingly unbeatable Thunder. Their assembled group of talent is formidable and Wemby is the transformative topper.

Thachmpionship game verses the Knicks will be fun. Brunson is hitting his own superstar status. I wish Melo would see how so many high quality, huh efficiency point guards get it done in this league, and mold his game to theirs, but that ain’t happening.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Jordan actually tried to mentor Gerald, he really tried with him. I think he saw a lot of himself in Hendo and I believe knew his Dad. He even copied some of MJ’s aesthetics. This is back when I still had the bare minimum amount of respect for Jordan of course.

MJ tried though and it showed, Henderson played “like” a star at times, he wasn’t All-Star level but you could tell he wanted to go toe to toe with them. Always respected Gerald.

There were some genuinely great Hendo games… but he was a bit DeRozan in that he was a ball stopper and didn’t have much in the way of an efficient game.
