I guess for all we know this has been brewing for a long time, but good for them to be so abrupt and truly zero-tolerance about it.

Apparently they received an anonymous tip and initially didn't find enough credible info, but that changed in the last 24 hours.

Holy cow
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

There's exactly one thing that I can think of involving an inappropriate relationship with a staffer that would need police involvement.

There was a rumor going around a couple weeks ago that he got a staffer pregnant.

Listening to the Fullcast and it sounds like it's been well known around Michigan for years about Moore being the town slut, even with his direct reports. Plural. So whatever happened was definitely a bridge too far, assault obviously being one of those.

That account is fake, but my first thought with the timeline here was that he marched over to the home of either the person who he was sleeping with or the person who dimed on him (possibly the same person) with evil intent after he lost the biggest job he'll ever have because he couldn't keep his dick in his pants.

It seems like the fake accounts like that one and Sean Wright have been good at taking things that are mostly/probably true that other non-official accounts are all putting out and tweeting it out as an actual report, maybe embellishing a bit. The recent Abdul Carter one comes to mind.

Could be legal semantics that there was not enough credible evidence...

However...holding this in past signing day/OSU game/playoff selection when there seemed to be a lot of tips out there 1+ months ago seems like a good conspiracy theory as well.

Turns out that "fake" account was...right.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/fired-university-michigan-football-coach-sherrone-moore-arraigned/story?id=128341311

The prosecution alleged Moore went to her apartment on Wednesday, grabbed scissors and butter knives from the kitchen and began to threaten his life.

Threatening your life with a butter knife? Come on, man.

Before I posted it here, I had a friend in Ann Arbor, and Michigan fan/booster independently confirm. Sounds crazy, but true.

**** is too crazy out there. If I’m posting something as fact, it’s because I’ve tried to confirm with boots on the ground.
