Can't wait to see Boozer vs Caleb Wilson in ACC play. I'm high on both.

He definitely had some struggles against Florida’s length tonight despite the numbers, but Chinyelu has like a 7’9 wingspan so that’s going to be arguably his toughest matchup this year.

What did we think about Cam's performance against the reigning champs, Florida? That's about the toughest, NBA-like frontcourt in college ball. Rueben Chinyelu has freak measurements:

- 36 minutes played
- 29 points (7-12 2PT, 3-9 3PT, 6-7 FT), 6 rebounds (3 off), 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 turnovers

Re: Cameron Boozer
He was solid, but yeah, that’s pretty much what I expect to see from him in the pros against more size and length. Smart basketball, can volume score on a bottom dweller or fit in on a contender, moderate efficiency, solid rebounding, even better facilitating if he has prime targets.
He’s going to be a good pro. Very good. Safe pick. But if it’s my pick on a downtrodden franchise, there are guys other than Peterson and Dybantsa I’d roll the dice on before Boozer. I think he’s a fringe all-star at his peak.

Boozer's 3:1 A:TO ratio is so absurd.

The sample is small at this point, but that number isn’t nearly as impressive against legit teams.
Was almost 7:1 against the warmup teams. Under 1.5:1 against real competition.
He is super solid with the ball, though. Another strength of his.

Re: Cameron Boozer
We need a larger sample size, but I'm starting to become quite bullish on Boozer. It is going to depend on how difficult Boozer is to guard in the NBA, but I'm beginning to think he is going to be too quick and have too good of a handle for a Center to defend him, and then too strong and physically overpowering for the Power Forwards in the league to defend him.
The player I will be continuing to compare Boozer to at the college level is Paolo Banchero. Paolo is somewhat similar and recent, which makes the comparison more apt than other players at the college level.
I am slightly concerned with his dip vs good competition, but that's already going to be factored in during a 18-year old freshman's first 10 games.

I'm not saying Cam is Duncan, but the way he moves, his demeanor, attitude, professionalism reminds me of Duncan. Like Cam looks bored and makes hard plays look so effortless and looks just like Wake Forest Duncan.
When Cam gets into the league, I think he will be Domantas Sabonis, 22/12, 60FG%, 75% free throws.

Re: Cameron Boozer
I'm still sceptical about his NBA role and ceiling, but at some point you just gotta stop overthinking and take the productivity at face value.
HOw many busts do we have that dominated High School, came in and dominated College as a freshman, showed all kinds of translatable skills like 3pts shot, playmaking and assist rate, rebounding rate etc., had dominant stats but then busted in the NBA? Usually the kind of busts that play similiar to Boozer have neither the playmaking or shooting and do what he does as a junior or senior.
Being completely dominant as a rookie or freshman at the big stage is usually teh number 1 sign that they won't be a bust, even if some parts of their game raise question marks. Similiar to a Sengun, if somebody is this dominant at age 18 against older players and clearly show next level skill set, you just draft them, despite some perceived flaws or questino marks

I agree with all of this. I will say, I think it really comes down to, is a NBA HC going to be willing to play a high usage offense through his style.
Yes he can pass for someone his size ave ya he can shoot the 3. But Cam is mainly Cam because of how good he is 15ft and in, then with those other variables tossed in.
So is a team going to let him primarily be a bully ball 4, that uses those other aspects off of that (kind of like Love in his later years in Minny). Or is a team just going to basically try and turn him into a “modern day 4” and he ends up with a similar role as Love in Cleveland (50-60 3PAr)

Cam doesn't need to be "high usage".
The only reason Love was used the way he was in Cleveland is that he was next to a GOAT, but that also led to offensive efficiency. Love was never able to produce as the lead man.
Kevin Love is another amp comparison for Cam, well done.
Ultimately, you are overthinking Cam.

Hopefully, he ends up in Washington next to Sarr (or in Sacramento, moving Keegan to the 3 again). He's such a perfect fit.

i project him to be an upgrade over jaylin from day one and jaylin has had plenty of opportunities so... i'd be ecstatic if that happenned.
the clippers can't be that bad for much longer, can they?

Hartenstein wouldn't start over Boozer. They'd either go Boozer at the 3, Chet at the 4 and Hart at the 5 in big lineups or Chet and Boozer as interchangeable small ball 5s with Hartenstein off the bench.
Foes..you DO realize I don't see your posts....right?

Hartenstein might be a UFA this summer. They have a team option on him but I suspect they won't be able afford it.
