I'm curious who was advising them, we've been pretty unremarkable when it comes to our drafting lately.

It's ridiculous watching Reaves play the Spurs and actually getting reffed like a normal player instead of gifted a foul for everything like he was us

NBA cup games have a playoff whistle, he won't get those freebies in the playoffs.

Note: Teams also received votes: Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards.

22 teams got votes. Raps got zero.

Discuss.

Wow. There was a time we were considered top tier... wtf?? Is this (assessment) a result of Masai departure?

Raps have definitely not impressed ... their draft record / picks have been quite poor. Over pays on most FA signings... pressure is definitely on this management... and ownership.

We haven’t done anything of note since 2018 to be fair.

This FO has been bad almost longer than it’s been good at this point.

2013-2018.

2019-2026.

Crazy how there’s so little trade talk around Kawhi. If the Raps were struggling like the Clips it would be deafening

Related, remember how Toronto and Miami were considered the exemplars of player development? That's long gone, it was based on the success of the bench mob core of Pascal Fred Delon OG Jak Norm, but it was a one shot deal, never replicated

People put way too much of the credit on the FO's and not the players.

Yes, we have a great environment for the players to develop but it's ultimately on the players at the end of the day to reach new benchmarks and develop year to year. It's the players who have to deliver.

Don't think cash will get Sam Presti to move. He's on the verge of being the architect of one of the most organic dynasties this league has ever seen. He's going to see this to completion in OKC.

Plus at this rate, OKC's ownership might give him a % of ownership at this point.

Lol anyone see james harden on the last play of the game vs Rockets.

Down by three....inbounding from under their own basket with 9 seconds left. Trting to inbound....James slowly walking up the floor like he's taking a stroll in tbe park.

I don't care how skilled and talented he is. I would have to stop supporting my team with a player like that on it. You're getting paid close to a million dollars for the game smh.

Is Gradey Dick even as good as Jordan Walsh?

Somebody should have studied how Siakam, Fred, Norm, OG all went from complete scrubs to legit stars in this league. Whatever we did back then has not been replicated.

Don't think they were ever complete scrubs. They had the talent in them. Credit the front office for drafting or signing them, then developing. But you can't replicate it with just any players. The right players weren't selected/signed after 2017 or 18 or thereabouts.

I think we have 6 guys 25 and under in our rotation. I don't think there's any other team as good as ours with that many. I think we have 4 first and second year players in our rotation. I can't think of another good team that has more than 2.

You can whine about player development, but this is what it looks like. Sometimes bad, sometimes exciting.

ehh, that's mainly cause our starting 5 is so expensive we can't afford solid vets for our bench lol.

Edey was playing so well this year. Hope he’s okay. Tough to stay healthy when you’re that size.
