Still searching for the best wings in the MKE area. No luck so far after 55 attempts.

The owner of Brother's is good people.

A year or two ago there was a sign on the door that they would be closing for 2 or 3 weeks for vacation. The guy said they were going Greece for a wedding. Next time I was there he was telling me about it. Super nice. I don't know if he's the owner but if not he's in the family.

It's been awhile but enjoyed the wings at Points East on the east side. A friend of mine said they started adding 15% "service fee" to all orders that they say is split amongst all staff. That rubs me the wrong way. Crappy food and/or service? Too bad. And I believe kids aren't allowed.

I've also had good wings at Tomkens in West Allis near State Fair park. It's all subjective though.

TomKens, Lymanski's, Spitfire's on State, Club Girabaldi in Bayview, The Neighborhood Draft are probably my favorites.

I've been having good luck with just making wings in the air-fryer with BWW's Asian Zing sauce.

I stopped going to my favorite place years ago because they started pulling that. In theory I don't mind it; I always tip more than 15%. But it's that they don't tell you they're doing it that bothered me. They just leave one line on the receipt. A couple times I got the bill and added an extra 20% or so because I didn't read the bill closely and it wouldn't be until after I left that I'd be like goddamn that seemed expensive.

FYI, Limanskis is closed. Maybe temporarily, maybe longer. Back taxes owed.

My finest friends, recently my kid expressed some interest in audiobooks. How do folks listen to them? We have a Spotify subscription, but it seems time limited to around 15 hours a month if I make them the primary on the account/has some kind of a boost option to get more. I was thinking of getting them an Audible subscription, is it the best bet? They’re an Apple ecosystem kid, not sure if just buying books as they find them is the right approach?

I’m a “probably need to reel it in a bit” podcast listener already so have tried to avoid audio books myself so far so I’m completely blind on this.

Audible is good but expensive. Used to get free credits for it but kept the subscription since I enjoy it.

Big Audible guy here. But you can also sign up for Libby if you have a library card and get a ton of books there too.

Libby is great and I believe the Queens public library let's you borrow books no matter where you might be located in case your local spot doesn't have what you need

Is Libby straightforward enough to use? It looks like you can use it with local libraries here in AU as well?

I don’t mind shelling out for Audible (Daddy Warbucks over here) for them to try if it’s the best option to just be a seamless experience.

Libby is easy to use. I use it in a web browser and in their dedicated app. You find the library you have a card with, enter the number, and you're good to go. My thing is those books I'm looking for are always reserved months out on Libby.

I'll just warn you about Audible - just because you have a subscription doesn't mean that you get access to their entire library. For many of the popular titles, you'll need to buy "credits" on top of the subscription just to get the book. It's nonsense, frankly.
