Rumored interest. Mediocre offer for a mediocre player. (Bulls can be cut out if, for some strange reason, Bucks prefer Kuminga.)

Detroit:
Out: T. Harris, 2026 FRP DET
In: Green
Makes sense given the embrace of the Bad Boys culture. Gain a secondary playmaker.

Golden State:
Out: Green, Kuminga, Moody, Podz, 2028 FRP GSW, 2030 FRP GSW (if 1-20 or 2031 unprotected)
In: Antetokounmpo x3, G. Harris, Anthony
Last push in Curry era.

Milwaukee
Out: Antetokounmpo x3, G. Harris, Anthony
In: T. Harris, Vuc, Moody, Podz, 4 FRPs
Two (likely) post-Curry GSW FRPs plus two additionally, two good young players, and two serviceable veterans with $58MM in expiring contracts.

That's very low value for Giannis, they need a great piece coming back, they get nothing here.
Green is better than Harris, but Pistons can't afford a non spacing PF when their center and wing defender both can't shoot.

It’s always tough to predict, it all depends how desperate teams are to trade for him. If everyone is conservative then Milwaukee are in a tough place, take the cheap offer or live with a disgruntled Giannis.

Sure, can I interest you in a smiley and shiny Jaden Hardy and allstar and podcaster D'Lo Russel?

Are they expiring? That would be enough for me.
DLo would enjoy playing Balls role while he is injured.

Not saying it will be good, the team is clearly tanking, so it works

No, both are on 2 years deal like Green, Mavs don't have expiring deals.
I think he can fetch an expiring if CHO is willing to take more money.

I'm eating crow on my Stephon Castle projection, I though he's another Dyson Daniels, he seems to be figuring it out on offense.
Hard to quantify coaching effect, but Spurs are defending great and Mavs defended great, and they share the same defensive coach.

Ajay Mitchell, Davion Mitchell, or Mitchell Robinson?

Who could be the big wing the Spurs need to compete for a championship this year? Sochan/Olynyc + removing the Mavs' draft commitment for PJ Washington?

PJ can't be traded this year after signing that extension.

But a player of that ilk, does seem to be something they lack.

Just wanted to give some credit to Davion Mitchell, who has turned into a decent PG who is good enough that you don't mind him as a 5th starter, and absolutely love him as a backup.

Davion is at 7.8 assists with only 1.5 turnovers this year, and he is one of the best POA defenders in the league -- all for only 2yrs/$24M

But I wouldn't trade Sheppard for him if I were Houston!

In the same way you used to bet on Kentucky/Callipari guards in the draft, I think at this point you can also bet on Sacramento Kings' drafted guards panning out once they've been traded.

Yeah POTS is for life but often manageable with appropriate meds and salt/water/compression. I think the real trick here is if he just has POTS or if it's ME/CFS also. Much harder to diagnose but typically feeling strong flu like and fatigue issues following exertion is the hallmark of ME/CFS. His career would be over if that's the case. For now if it's just POTS then they could just be tweaking his regime to get it right for games.

What's ME/CFS?

Chronic fatigue syndrome is its more well-known name. It's the more severe from of post-vital fatigue syndrome. Your severe cases or long term cases of Long COVID would mostly all get to an ME/CFS diagnosis. The prime differentiator is that exertion can make them worse, so limiting exertion is typically the most immediate helpful thing, which would be a death knell for most jobs.

Often people don't publicly disclosed their diagnosis of it because of poor work prospects and stigma. These conditions (POTS, ME/CFS, overtraining syndrome) seem to impact those from northern countries more. It's probably not a coincidence that Lauri and KP suffer these most recently in NBA.

If Milwaukee trades Giannis and Atlanta isn't the suitor, something around KP's expiring + filler + pick(s)/prospect(s) for Turner + Kuzma?

I know this sounds dramatic but I genuinely don't know what we're getting it of trying to keep this expensive cavs team together anymore. No one took them seriously in the playoffs as it was and now they're looking like a not terribly impressive regular season team too
